I was at that panel to. He was asked if was involved with the Robotech sidequel. He said actors were always the last to know but he said Tommy Yune contacted him and he will be involved with the sidequel. He knew it was a side story set in between RT.

MW probably is one of the best sources of Robotech news and info.

Maybe they replaced the framing part of LLA with Rick Hunter narrating the flashback story, oh wait he's trapped on the horizon of a black hole or something like that so never mind LOL
He's probably replacing someone else or doing a small/cameo character. As was suggested at MW, he could be giving Lancer's fleet their orders or his involvement could be in a production capacity.

So most likely his voice will be in the sidequel for an even shorter amount of time than Shadow Chronicles.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE RIGHT NOW. TO BAD NOT ENOUGH NEWS. HG STILL HOLDS THE INFO ON THAT.

ONLY THING THAT IS OUT THERE IS A NEW ROBOTECH SIDE SEQUEL, HG TALKING TO VOICE ACTORS, A SERA IMAGE, AND A VIDEO THAT HG IS SHOWING AROUND. GOING TO BE DONE AROUND END OF YEAR OR BEGINNING OF NEXT YEAR.

EVERYTHING ELSE IS SPECULATION.

THANKS FOR THE INFO. YOU THE ONLY ONE ASKING THE GOOD QUESTIONS RELATED TO THE SIDE SEQUEL? AT THE CON/PANEL I MEAN?

As far as I know (I got there 20 mins. late; Darn traffic). I know there was some Live Action rights & Power Rangers questions. Though I was surprised there wasn't more questions about the sidequel.
