Don't forget, a lot of fans from the panel just before will just stay in the room for awhile as seen by them leaving during the Robo Tech panel or they come in for a seat before the panel immediately after the Robo Tech panel. Just cause a panel room is "packed" doesn't mean that everyone there is for the actual. A seasoned ComicCon attendee would realize this.
OF COURSE. USUALLY HAPPENS WHEN THEY HEARD ALL THEY HAD TO WITH THE PANEL. LIKE ANY USUAL Q & A FANS MOVE AROUND. DURING THE ACTUAL PANEL, AND YOU KNOW THE SDCC PACKS A LOT OF ATTENDEES ONLY LIKE UNDER 10 PEOPLE MOVE AROUND. THE MAJORITY, WHICH IS A HUGE NUMBER STICK TO THEIR SEATS. I SAY ABOUT 10 TO EVERY 800 MOVE AROUND. LAST YEAR I THINK ONLY 5 DID OUT OF OVER 1000.
ANY SEASONED SDCC ATTENDEE WOULD KNOW THIS.

How do you have time to count movement when you're intently listening to the panel?ps99041 wrote:

HAHAHHA...TAKES ABOUT ONE SECOND TO LOOK.How do you have time to count movement when you're intently listening to the panel?
BECAUSE I AM AGAINST THE BACK WALL RECORDING EVERYTHING. EVERY TIME THE DOOR OPENS IT ATTRACTS LIGHT WHICH OF COURSE GRABS MY ATTENTION. SO I KINDA ALWAYS GET THE WHOLE VIEW OF THE ATTENDEES.
ALSO, I DON'T MISS MUCH FROM THE PANEL. PRETTY MUCH, BUT NOT ALL, IS REPETITIVE. SOME LITTLE EXTRA STUFF HERE AND THERE JUST ABOUT IT. AND IT LETS ME LOOK AROUND FOR PEOPLES REACTIONS AND SUCH.

SAME AS BEFORE WHEN I REPORTED FROM A.O.D. CON SAN FRANCISCO IN FEBRUARY. AND HOW RTSURFER VIDEO IS JUST ABOUT THE SAME.
ONLY THIS TIME THE LINE ART HAD MORE COLOR AND THE GLOW IN THE DARK GARFISH LOOKS BETTER THIS TIME AROUND. I DID NOTICE THE GLOWING EFFECT OF THE ENGINES WAS THAT OF THE SERIES. ANIMATION LOOKED RETRO BUT NEW. NOT AS SHARP AS SHADOW CHRONICLES THOUGHT.
YOU KNOW HOW THE ANIMATION OF SHADOW CHRONICLES LOOKS WAY AHEAD OF 1985 TV SERIES? WELL, THIS ONE LOOKED LIKE YOU CAN FIT IT IN BETWEEN NEW GENERATION EPISODES AND ONLY LOOK A LITTLE SLIGHTLY OFF.
MY GUESS IS THEY GOING AFTER THE RETRO LOOK AND GETTING EVERYTHING DOWN TO THE EQUAL VIEW OF THE ANIMATION AS SEEN IN 1985 ROBOTECH.

Also, the project was greenlit because Carl Macek died, apparently they were afraid the remaining fans would think Robo-Tech had no future so they decided to use a project started with him to keep the fans interested.

Watch the AX2011 panel videos, that's why they greenlit it. If anyone is low its them for exploiting Carl Macek's death. I was just reporting on it.Also, the project was greenlit because Carl Macek died/quote]

OPINION. THIS PART IS WHATS NOT NEEDED...apparently they were afraid the remaining fans would think Robo-Tech had no future so they decided to use a project started with him to keep the fans interested.
JUAN, HG DID SAY IT. JUST THAT BOTH OF YOU GUYS ARE LOST IN THE GREENLIT THING.Also, the project was greenlit because Carl Macek died/quote]

OK GUYS... BACK TO THE BASICS...
Green-light
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green-light
To green-light a project is to give permission or a go ahead to move forward with a project.[1] In the context of the movie and TV businesses, to green-light something is to formally approve its production finance, thereby allowing the project to move forward from the development phase to pre-production and principal photography.
The term is a reference to the green traffic signal, indicating "go ahead."
The power to green-light a project is generally reserved to those in a project or financial management role within an organization. The process of taking a project from pitch to green light formed the basis of a successful reality TV show titled Project Greenlight.[2] The term has found its way into general business and military culture as a result of its use in the film industry.
In organized crime, gang and prison slang to green-light a person is to authorize the assassination of this person. An example of this use of the word can be found in the 2008 movie Felon spoken by Val Kilmer's character, John Smith.

Memo, that's essentially how Kevin explained the conversation between Frank Agrama and himself concerning the future of Robotech and this project being greenlit.rtsurfer wrote:

FRANK DECIDED TO GREEN LIGHT BOTH PROJECTS. DOES NOT MEAN WORK WAS NOT BEING DONE BEFORE THE GREEN LIGHT. EXAMPLE THE RLAM. EVEN THOUGHT IT'S NOT GREEN LIT, DOES NOT MEAN THERE IS A COMPLETE STOP.
