I wonder how small they could make a Voltron that can split into the 5 lions?

Nicktoons' Voltron Force section:
nicktoons.nick.com/shows/voltron-force

It has the previous material plus character profiles and new character art.

Not sure. Don't some of the Transformers mini cons or whatever they are called combine? They are very small as well.

I'm sure they could make them pretty small as Hasbro made a Transformers ROTF Devastator combiner using the Legends class which is slightly larger than a mini-con though some mini-cons could also combine.

That's kind of what I imagined. A simple price point or a bundle pack would be likely I imagine. Still, it would be interesting to se how WEP capitalizes on this revival. Wouldn't it be something if an OVA or one shot is done in the anime style by the opriginal company that did Beast King Go Lion? Imagine if WEp coul get them to do one for the older fans, kinda like how Hasbro did G.I.JOE resolute for older fans and renegades for kids.

I prefer transformable mecha to super-poseable types, if the price isn't outrageous. The tiny stuff is cute and convenient to place/display. The huge stuff is usually really detailed and demands attention. The Transformer toy lines pretty much cater to everyone, they usually have three or more sizes and some gimmick or specialty stuff with different price points so the consumer decides how much detail they want to pay for. Although I'm sure that's a huge pain for collectors.

They're supposed to show the Voltron toy line at SDCC, I hope they have a small fully transformable one. I can't wait to see how detailed the 2-3 foot Voltron is, IIRC, the Lions will go for about 30 each. The Matchbox and Toyanmi transformable versions were what about 1 1/2 feet?

I wonder how many sets of the Reebok transformable they have sold?
From here and more images here:

I don't know how much these were originally but on ebay they are selling for like 200 each.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a classic OVA, toy companies have been known to make animations or specials just to release with other products especially toys. The downside is some of those are just older animation edited into something new, but you never know what will happen if the Voltron Force and classic Voltron stuff does well.

I'm loving the way the lions and Voltron look and move but I'm really starting to think the character art is looking subpar compared to even the original series. Still, at least we didn't have to go to a con to see the footage ;)
