Apparently the first couple of Voltron Force episodes are already on Nickelodeon/Nicktoons Action On-Demand.

Animation is simplistic but better than I expected. Some characters seem to have gotten more attention than others when they were animated. Quality and smoothness varies but most of the time it's okay, sometimes the toon cgi looks too cgi and doesn't mess.
The fist appearance of the lions was too cgi but I really enjoyed the final battle in episode 2, the toon cgi for both lions and robeast were nice.
The first two episodes were entertaining, more lighthearted and silly than childish as I was expecting from the pre-promotion, with lots of action. These two episodes set up the series, characters, and subplots. I expect episode three to be an example of what a typical Voltron episode will be like.
It wasn't great but I still enjoyed watching and look forward to the next episode.

I watched the first two episodes again. Overall, the quality isn't really that different than other popular series I'm already watching. I don't know how to explain it but it does sorta "feel" like the original Voltron. I'm actually liking the series so far, looking forward to episode 3.

One thing I don't like, they used "Let's Voltron" as the opening theme but they did use a remix of the original Voltron theme for the closing credits.


I read that the new Thundercats was set for a mid-July premiere but that CN is now considering pushing it back to mid-Aug.

The three episode Voltron Force pilot premieres tonight 8:30 PM EST on Nicktoons commercial free.

Wow, $2.99 an episode or $28.99 for a season pass. I remember when it was years before tv series were available on VHS Now you can watch the series and download it at virtually the same time Wonder how well it will sell?

I like the new VF series, not sure I would spend money on downloads especially when I'm capable of transferring it to my computer and/or burning it to DVD from DVR.
My wife watched the pilot with me, while the animation is different than the original version we both thought it felt like Voltron. My biggest gripe is the rap theme song.

Has anyone watched Teen Wolf on MTV? The new series is a lot darker than the 80's movies.

It seems like quite a bit of the lighting, bgm, and settings are right out of a horror flick. It starts off with a murder mystery

involving a girl's body that was ripped in half. He can't control his transformations and is afraid he's going to hurt or kill someone. There's the werewolf hunters out to kill them. People are killed and ripped up. Then in episode 3 there's the twist, you find out things aren't exactly like they've been portrayed so far, and things are now worse.

Sounds more like a remake of "I was a teenage werewolf"
