GOOD REPORT. LOOKS LIKE IT'S STILL HARD TO GET AWAY FROM IT'S PREDECESSOR AND BEING KIDDIEFIED.

HARDCORE FANS WILL LOOK INTO IT. BUT WILL THEY KEEP WATCHING KNOWING IT'S MEANT FOR KIDS.

I JUST HOPE THE LIVE ACTION MOVIE DOES NOT FOLLOW THE SERIES VERSION.

There's still going to be a live action movie? I thought it was canned a while back....

Q: I read that a big screen adaptation of Voltron may be in the works for possible 2013 release. Can you confirm those reports? What else can you tell us about that project?

Ted: A live action feature film is indeed in the works, and we have been working closely with Richard Suckle and Jason Netter to bring about the big-screen adaptation. I am also grateful for the efforts of Chuck Roven in championing the project. We are hoping to make some pretty big announcements soon.

Didn't Chuck Roven co-produce The Dark Knight trilogy?

Case and point, so now Jason Netter(produce of Shadow Chronicles and RT LAM) is pushing Voltron cartoon and LAM hard...hmmm.....could it be because there is a damn thing going on with Robotech?

don't worry guys, i'm sure they're just trying to rush a Voltron LAM release just like Transformers 2 and 3, because they're "shaking in their boots" about that Robo-Tech LAM ;) Robo-Tech must be a cursed franchise due to those Macross Purists.

I was wearing a Voltron shirt on Wednesday and everywhere I went people were saying "cool Voltron shirt." Never once have I gotten a comment on the Robotech shirt I got with the Battlecry video game when I've worn it. Need I say more?

Edit:
Oh, and I got the Voltron shirt for less than $15 at Target not too long ago...

^Yeah, I wonder why Chuck Roven bailed on RTLAM but is championing VLAM? Its also interesting that Jason Netter is producing both RTLAM and VLAM but VLAM is the only one getting any attention other than HG's staff repeatedly re-posting/reading off the same list of people attached to it for like the last 3 or 4 years.

^Voltron and the 5 Lions are iconic. I'm not surprised people recognize the name Voltron before Robotech. I actually think people are more likely to recognize a character or mecha from Robotech before its name.
Sometimes you can only find the stuff you really want at cons, other times its mass produced and will be cheaper at discount/retail chains/stores.
