You can go over that limit, you just gotta start pulling that money and start stashing it some place in your house before they notice. That said, I think that limit is total bullshit. Some people need to save up just to be able to pay their bills, especially during winter and summer seasons when your electric bill is jacked up.

I get assistance because I'm disabled but it ain't that much better, it's just based on your income and mine is fixed. But I have heard that if you have cancer you can receive a lot more in disability. Not sure why this is, I guess because they know you're going to die and they feel sorry for you? Beats the shit out of me.
