ATLANTECH paperback was created by LadyGrimes
For those of you who know about or remember my former fan project turned original, I feel the need to inform you that I've been in contact with an official publishing company since November, and they want to publish the ATLANTECH series.
And most recently, I've emailed them the current manuscript of the first book. Not yet complete, but they wanted to look over it anyway, and now I am waiting anxiously for them to get back to me and tell me what they think so far. I have plans to get the first novel finished, published and available by fall or even earlier if it's possible. This is a huge project I've taken on, and I didn't realize just how huge until I started the writing process. Yes there had already been previously written chapters, but they just weren't fit for being published as a novel. There was much more detail and back story that needed to be added, along with the exception of re-writes to fit the story into the brand new universe I created for it.
If all goes well, the series could end up being a big hit, not something I an anticipating, but I just want to get my work out there, to share it with the world the way it was intended to be.
I really want to thank everyone who had supported me in the beginning when I first introduced my series here. I had received a lot of great feedback and that is what kept me going, cause I knew you guys wanted to see more. Well now I can promise you there will be more, and it will all be in the form of a novel and e book when it's released.
I'll be sure to keep everyone up to date with what's going on. So far the goal is to publish the novel series and following that, an art book. I still do the web comic and I might start posting that here again, it all depends on what's going on with me. Do I have any plans to publish that? Possibly, however I'd prefer publishing that in the art book, rather than stand alone but we'll see what goes.
I am very excited and really looking forward to ATLANTECH becoming an official series on the market.
I will have Publish America to thank for that when the time comes. They're an amazing company and have been really great and helpful to me so far, and I am definitely looking forward to working with them.
Anyways just wanted to give the bunch of you the heads up on what was going on <3
Thanks for all your support, and no matter what I'll never forget that it all started here on this forum =]

lol thanks, yeah even if I did self publishing, wouldn't go with them =P
Anyways, I heard back from my publisher sooner than I expected. They loved what I had sent so far and requested that I do some special formatting that's required for publishing. Not a problem, however they also wanted to know if I could possibly have the whole first novel manuscript completed by May 1st. Right now, I'm very anxious and believe I can, it's just going to require a lot of focus on my part and lots and lots of cups of coffee or in my case, soda pop!

May 1st... Publishers get annoying with their deadlines. They'll probably expect you to churn out a part II/sequel by for Xmas sales.
