Oh no, pleaae...allow me to spread the enlightenment today:I think it's prudent that Robotech continues its association with Hard SF and its critical thinkers, Sadly, as a Macross fan there's barely nothing comparable in regards to novelisations. It's all nothing but comics and cartoons for Macross. Maybe, for Macross fans...
We should toss a couple of Jack McKinney novels their way and watch them be enlightened.

This is a list of all the Macross novels (except for the third and fourth Frontier volumes, since this list was made before those were released). Moreover, many of the books were written by the same people who wrote the shows, so they're truer to the concepts of the show than the Robotech novels are.

Okay, you've got me baffled. I've seen a lot of statements from you that seem to...um...overestimate Robotech's importance on the world entertainment stage, from Paramount rushing Transformers 2 into production out of fear that the Robotech movie will come along soon, to the creators of Macross Frontier aping "the neon Itano circus" from Shadow Chronicles. Were those parodies, too? Because I don't see much of a qualitative difference between those posts and the "joke" you made here...Oh well, atleast I know it doesnt' take much to string along certain elements of the fandom.

Nice link, I thought those graphic novels were nothing more than glorified comic books.
Yeah, well I guess for some we can consider these literary works.

Um...they're not "graphic novels" or "comic books." They're novels.Gubaba wrote;

I'll have to side with Gubaba on this one, after all 3 out of 10 fans (rough estimate) at the Comic Con RTX booth asked about Macross Frontier.
EDIT
Wait a minute, penguins and I were discussing something interesting as well in regards to E-Crushes on Seto.
