I just got my MPC #2 Cyclone (Rand) and I am missing the right-side plate cover!!!!

This is the C-shaped white and black part that is on either side of the cyclone. I called RT.COM and those dicks want me to send it back on my dime and they will send me another one. FUCK YOU RT.COM!!!! I refuse to pay another dollar for this over priced toy...undeniably cool......but over-priced for sure!!!

I wonder if this is just me or yet another factory fuck-up ala the Maya MPC recall fiasco......Only time will tell.

Par for the course, I'm afraid. I've yet to meet someone who bought from the RT.com store more than once and hasn't had a bad experience with it. It looks to me like Harmony Gold has decided to cut manufacturing costs as much as possible to get profit margins up, and quality control is suffering because of it.

If you want the undeniable coolness at a fraction of the price, look into the Beagle 1/12 Ride Armors instead. They may be a bit smaller, but they're great, high-quality collectibles (better than most of the recent MPCs), and they cost about a quarter of what the MPCs do.

I have the beagle versions but it's a shame those pricks won't pay for their mistakes!!!

I got my masterpiece cyclones off of ebay for $110 (Scott) and $125 (Rand). If you're patient, you can get some good deals. Failing that, I've found some ridiculously good deals through Nextag.com (I got a Megahouse Lancer 1/15 cyclone for $40 by scraping through there).

FOR THAT PRICE... ANY PROBLEMS LIKE MGREXX?

Not a one. The 1/10th's arrived promptly and shrink-wrapped (so I know they weren't re-seals).

I'll be totally honest though (and this will make me lose like a splazillion mechanerd points), I can't quite get them transformed properly 'cos there's something I'm just not getting in the directions (viewing the collectiondx videos on youtube didn't help either).

My Lancer and Shadow Cyclone 1/15th's were sealed as well, and had no issues with them at all.

But nothing was missing, sealed in the white boxes, it was all good.
