25 Anniversary Soundtrack

GOOD NEWS: HG has found the master tapes of Robotech music.

BAD NEWS: Those tapes are covered in mold. (eeewwww)

GOOD NEWS: HG is restoring those tapes so we can put the material on the 25th Anniversary Soundtrack

BAD NEWS: The 25 Anniversary Soundtrack might be delayed while the tapes are restored. Once I hear back from the lab I will let you know.

Maybe HG should move Robotech's 25th anniversary back to 2011 or even 2012 so they can actually put out 25th anniversary products during its anniversary

Because the 25th Anniversary Soundtrack CD is now weighing in at 3 discs, which type of case would you prefer?

*A triple jewel case. (smaller, but thicker and more brittle)

*A triple DVD case. (slimmer and more durable, but taller)

*A recyclable case. (more expensive, but biodegradable if you toss it)

*I really don't care what type of case they come in.

*Do you have 8-track cassette tapes?

I figure it's just their new financial strategy since it's obvious that they're having difficulty actually releasing the complete soundtrack. They can sell multiple versions of each track as a maxi-single for $7 (making gangbuster loads of money from all the singles) and then, hopefully, they'll have their act together by the 30th anniversary and release the entire soundtrack in one product to again sell gangbusters.

I KNOW THEY SAID THEY HAVE A LOT.

BEST OPTION WOULD BE TO RELEASE THE SOUNDTRACK AND THEN ANYTHING THAT COULD NOT FIT THEY COULD HAVE RELEASED IN THE EP'S RIGHT AFTER.

EITHER WAY IS GOOD FOR ME.

How could the amount of tracks not fit on the soundtrack? Can't they just add another disc into the volume since there aren't any details known about this product other than the fact that HG has been using fan assistance to make it? Basically, HG is just trying to take advantage fans as usual.

I WOULD HAVE SOLD IT IN VOLUME SETS. EP'S ARE GOOD TO SINCE IT'S A BIT SMALLER IN PRICE.

YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT ARE THE FANS DOING ON THIS PROJECT FIRST BEFORE YOU SAY THEY ARE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE FROM.

No, I mean, it was an ACUTAL joke, right?

Steve said they found the George Sullivan version of "It's You" in a buried treasure chest.

He wasn't being serious, was he? Or is "buried treasure chest" a metaphor for "storage space"?

so are the fans who are helping HG with "lost" tracks getting paid? if not, they're being taken advantage of.
