ALSO TO ADD, I WILL BE GETTING QUESTIONS ANSWERED IN WHATEVER PROBLEMS I COME UP WITH FROM THE SOURCE OF ROBOTECH MILITARY AS WELL, Greg Finley TO SEE WHAT STARTED IT ALL. HE DID WORK ON THE STRUCTURE IN THE ROBOTECH UNIVERSE.

As for government, we know there is a UEG Senate (Boobytrap), UEG Supreme Council (Danger Zone) and a Prime Minister (Star Dust).

As for the military, post-Macross, we can directly state there are at least 3 Service Branches:

United Earth Forces
Army (of the Southern Cross)
- Attached Air Corps
- Attached Naval Corps (speculation)

Global Military Police

Air/Space Forces

The Robotech Expeditionary Force (Pioneer Mission) is a Multi-Service Combat Command, NOT a Service Branch. There are numerous references to The Army being part of the REF and we know Scott Bernard, Major Carpenter and other REF personnel follow Navy/Air Force ranks/structure.

The Army is referenced at the beginning of Metal Fire. The Air Corps is referenced in Love Song by Lieutenant Brown. As for the Naval Corps, we see one of the Frogmen Commandoes arming doublets at the beginning of Dana's Story during Leonard's monologue to the graduating class of the United Earth Forces Military Academy.

We know the GMP is a separate branch from the Army and Air/Space Forces because of Love Song where Nova and the others are performing security clearance checks all the personnel assigned to The Second Offensive (which by Mind Games includes Army units like the 15th ATAC).
