That's the exact argument I've been trying to make for a long ass time lol. The comic book look doesn't fit Robotech, it just looks stupid. The realistic proportions of the characters in the original 85 made those characters more real and believable as people, but TSC? no thanks I'll pass.

Besides the atrocious dialog the nonsensical physical proportions of the characters was my next gripe about the show. I agree, comic book proportions belong in comic books. Unless HG intended the show's characters to look like comedic exagerations, then they failed in character design.

I like fan service as much as the next guy, but come on! All the characters are so top heavy they shouldn't be able to walk upright!

Almost makes you wonder if the "current" creative minds behind the show actually "get" it:?

Please, boobies in anime is standard fare ... since RTSC is a pseudo-anime, thus T&A are required.

Its just that .. well, T&A in anime should come with associated jiggling & bouncing ... RTSC FAILED BIGTIME in that department.

What's the use of melon sized boobies if it remained ... static.

Wasted opportunities ... I tell ya ....

However, I do hope in the next RT production, T&A can be minimised ... or if continued, we do need the associated jiggling & bouncing ... seriously ..
