It's been proven, if Sam Raimi doesn't have passion for a character that character is treated horrible. Venom was too rushed and only got a good 10min. in the film. Vulture and Sandman would been a awesome duo and it's a shame we didn't see that. Black Cat would be great but Anne Hathaway?...C'mon.. The only logical Black Cat is Tricia Helfer (she played her on Spectacular Spider-man). She's tall, already blond and sexy enough to pull off Black Cat.

Yes Venom was too rushed. That was a damn shame, since he is one of my favorite villains. Surprisingly I did like Topher as Venom. He had the perfect witty-troubled-personality that is great for Venom.

Probably for the best that it ends there. Spider-Man was already losing a bit momentum for me anyway. He is my favorite super hero of all time.

Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios announced today they are moving forward with a film based on a script by James Vanderbilt that focuses on a teenager grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises.

The new chapter in the Spider-Man franchise produced by Columbia, Marvel Studios and Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin, will have a new cast and filmmaking team. Spider-Man 4 was to have been released in 2011, but had not yet gone into production.

Well I'm sure there's going to be a lot who feel the same, and of course those who hated Tobey's performance and thought they could of gotten someone better, but really there's no need to reboot a series that isnt't that old. Because what are they going to call it? Spiderman is already taken.. and if they make sequels, its just going to be the same shit.. spiderman 2, 3, 4 whatever

it's just better to drop spiderman and focus on something better.
Personally.. I'd love to see some more TMNT.. not CG but the body suits like the cheesy 80s/90s movies.

They could call it The Amazing Spider-man, Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-man, or The Web of Spider-man...
