Ok, point the first: Cybertron was supposed to be dead. OP and co said as much in the first flick. Thier prime (haha) motivation for getting the allspark was to prevent Megatron from getting it.

Point the second: 'Capsules', as they're being called, could easiliy be built on Earth, just like they'd been built on other planets. Not too difficult to make a reentry heat-sheild, for being as advanced as they are.

Point the third: If some of them can't fly, then how did they get into space in the first place? Maybe they can't fly, but... they figured it out before. If they wanted to do it again, they could.

Point the fourth: Oh, wait... I'm done...

AS IT WAS EXPLAINED IN THE FIRST MOVIE AS WELL THE AUTOBOTS AND YOU CAN FIGURE THAT THE DECEPTICONS ARE SPREAD OUT ALL OVER THE GALAXY LOOKING FOR THE ALL SPARK. YOU ONLY NEED A SHIP AS A TRTANSPORT FOR LIFE SUPPORT, MOVING OF HEAVY EQUIPMENT, OR PERSONEL ETC ETC.

MAYBE THEY WILL BUILD ONE AFTER THEY START GATHERING.. LIKE A BASE OR SOME SORT.

God if they are gonna trash a US Carrier why couldn't it have been an old rust bucket like the Kennedy? Or the Kitty Hawk?

maybe they have a real ship! a really big ship!

Here's are points I do agree with you guys from the start
1)they dont need an atmosphere or gravity to live, point!

2)Cybertron is dead! and with no life! point!

3)the autobots and decepticons are advanced robots
with advance technology! point!

the ship does not need life suport or gravity or ect.
they would just need them to get from point A to point B
so why not make more advance weapons? that can destroy their enemies faster!

but lets throw out everything we originally know about transformers!

Memo, I gotta agree with you. One thing that I really LIKED about the first Transformers movie was the idea thet they DID have to get down and dirty in the fighting...

Jazz's demise was a great case in point. Sure, Jazz is an autobot, just like all the others, but he was severely underpowered to go up against Megatron. Still, out of a sense of duty, or a sense of preserving the human race, whatever, he still took Megatron on, knowing it'd mean certain death.

Another point I'd agree with is this: Yes, they could've done the big booms all through the movie, but they didn't. Army and Air Force weapons did, in fact, damage them to the point that they were badly hurt. Take the case of Scorpinox, in the desert. First, the Warthogs slammed it, then the AC-130 Specter finsihed the job.

Also, Prime's used that wrist blade to take out Bonecrusher, one blow to the head. Excellent.

Ok, I'm done, for now...

if you look at all the cartoon series of all the transformers
they all had a starship / command center
so why not have one in the movie?
if they were scatterd all over space?!
did they have any sence of wanting to get everyone back, even if cybertron is dead, they dont need any sort of atmosphere to survive on it!
