When a working Bat-Pod was put on eBay last year it definitely looked cool but was priced well beyond the budget of most weekend riders. Additionally, the builders offered the opportunity to see the bike for an insane amount of cash. Thanks but no.
Now another builder has stepped up and not only built the Bat-Pod they have made it street legal and taken that sucker to the streets. The video
Chopper City USA has knocked this replica out of the park using all metal fabrication. That means there is no Fiberglass or bondo, just metal and powder coat. The site credits Builder Dave Welch for the two wheel rolling piece of awesome.
Unfortunately the videos don’t show any high-speed maneuvers or quick reverses done by driving it up a wall but it is very cool to see that this bike has been made. It does look a little tough to drive and the turning radius looks like a nightmare.
