Another one if you like those kinds of movies is one that doesn't get as much attention. It was David Cronenberg's first film "Shivers" aka "They Came From Within". A very disturbing premis.

Oh, and to Pizza The Hutt and Happy Penguins
were either of you aware that they are planning a prequel for The Thing???

It will tell the tale of the events at the Norwegian camp. So presumably, it will end with the dog escaping and the two guys taking off in the helicopter.

At one point, the creator of the new Battlestar Galactica was involved with writing the script but has since been invited to leave due to strange concepts (he was going to try to say that MacKready's brother was at the Norwegian camp - which makes no sense)


Also, Riddley Scott has returned to make an A L I E N prequel which will explain the Space Jocky race and by extension, the origin of the ALIENS themselves.
