I am an original fan as well. The first episode I saw was "The Long Wait", and I missed the first few minutes of it, but what I did see had me intrigued. I think it was the style of the animation. I remember seeing "Speed Racer" as a child and "Battle of the Planets" as a teenager, but I hadn't seen any other Japanimation, so this caught my attention. Robotech was the reason why I bought a VCR. I taped every episode after that. I've been an up & down fan ever since. Like the man said, "It just gets in your blood or something..."

Has anyone else noticed what it says on Vanessa's monitor ( i think it's hers') in Bye Bye Mars when they approach the base? A strange riddle with a britsh author and even an ISBN number. I noticed the ISBN and rewound and paused to read it. I never noticed it before!

Im going to look into that......right......right...right now.

LOL while the SDF-1 is approaching Sara Base on Mars they scan the base from a distance before approaching. Vanessa has a read out on her screen. They show it but the image is difficult to read as the show plays, I thought i saw the letters ISBN. You know the Bar Code you see on products identifing merchandise for scanners? Well i paused and sure enough it was. ISBN a full number, A publisher in Britian, an author is also listed after that. then a strange riddle or poem about a mouse and the ocean and cats on land ect... I never noticed it before now.

I just realized something, How come there really arn't any Female Zentradi after the final battles in the Macross saga? I mean we know Azonia is fried along with The Backstabber, and of course Mrs. Sterling LOL! but what of the rest of the task force? Azonia's forces were ALL female and i would risk assumeing that some would have survived and yet in the last portion of Macross saga all we see of survivors are male.
