New Macross fan needs help finding Macross was created by Pizza-the-Hutt
But I would apreciate where I can locate Macross Flashback 2012 on DVD,untouched except for english subtitles. And maybe other Macross episodes and movies because I do not own a computer and since I have a big HD screen tv I prefere dvd than computer downloads on a small computer monitor.
If anyone here owns a Playstation 3 can you provide some good sites or if I can watch a thumbdrive USB drive because I never watch anything off a thumbdrive.
Not to worry to the Robotech fans (all 11,357 of us worldwide) because I am still a Robotech fan..I just became one more of the 998,999,345,765,987,123,975 MACROSS fans worldwide.
I like Jumbo Jacks and Whoppers the same

On a funny note,Why duz Macross keep love triangles?,
And this might be a bad question,.but was that Sharon Apple in anyway supposed to be something like a "Haydonite" or was that something Harmony Gold ripped off from Mactross?
What a world we live in,

From what I understand, the english-dub version of Mac+ is pretty much on par with the original dialogue. It's one of the few direct translations that didn't suffer much.

Subs are something that take a bit of getting used to. You'll find it easier the more subtitled anime you watch. I prefer subs myself, in dubs you often miss some of the nuances of the dialogue.Well I just bought Macross Plus the other day and I am going to watch it again in english dub so I can understand the plot a wee bit better,I cannot keep up with subtitles and action at the same time.

It's just something that Macross does. The creators of the show like to tell romance stories on the backdrop of war. It works pretty well, actually. It's one of the core themes of the franchise. On a funny note,Why duz Macross keep love triangles?

Well, as Macross Plus came out ten years before the script of Robotech: the Shadow Chronicles was even written, I'd say the question might need to be reversed a bit...And this might be a bad question,.but was that Sharon Apple in anyway supposed to be something like a "Haydonite" or was that something Harmony Gold ripped off from Mactross?
Sharon Apple is no alien robot, she's a computer-generated virtual reality idol touted as an artificial intelligence with programming to simulate emotion. In truth, the Sharon Apple system is still incomplete, and falls short of being a true artificial intelligence. Sharon's emotions are all provided by Myung Fang Lone under the cover of her role as Sharon's producer. Shortly before the 30th anniversary of the armistice that ended Space War 1, Marge Gueldoa, the "assistant producer" and lead scientist in charge of the development of Sharon Apple, installed a bio-neural chip, an illegal and highly dangerous component that makes a truly unpredictable artificial intelligence possible, which led to Sharon Apple going berzerk, hypnotizing the entire audience, and seizing control of the Macross and the Ghost X-9 prototype (AIF-X-9).

THANKS FOR THE INFO. BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I LAST SEEN IT BACK IN THE 90'S.
AS FOR TIME LINE ON SCRIPT THERE WAS THE CARL MACEK "ROBOTECH THE MOVIE" SCRIPTED BACK IN 1986.
WITH ANOTHER VIRTUAL CUMPUTER GENERATED IDENTITY THAT COULD CONECT WITH THE HERO AND HIS MOTORCYCLE WHO CAN ALSO SING.
BUT THATS TAKEN FROM MEGAZONE. AND I NEVER SEEN MEGAZONE ON ITS OWN SO DONT KNOW THE ORIGINAL STORY.
