He also tweeted a similar tweet in Japanese . Going by the Japanese tweet he means the original series which he would probably have to work with both on for a project since he is based in Tokyo. I'm sure some here will ravish in this tidbit of info so have at it.

OK, WOULD HG BE INVOLVED? IF SO, ARE THEY LOOKING INTO RE DOING THE MACROSS DVD BOX SET IN SPANISH WITH EXTRAS AND STUFF? SOMETHING THIS DANNY COULD POSSIBLY BE WORKING ON NOW?

ANEMEIGO AND ADV ALREADY CAME OUT WITH THEIR VERSION.

If he were doing that, Memo, he wouldn't need to deal with Big West at all. After all, AnimEigo simply used Harmony Gold's masters, and the Argentine company could do the same.

I'm pretty sure the only reason Save is saying it's probably only the original series is because Danny uses the full "Super Dimension Fortress Macross" title, instead of just "Macross," but my feeling is that it could be something to do with DYRL, as well.

But it's probably not a DVD release. Danny's a TV commentator, journalist, and general mover'n'shaker...not a distribution company.
