I actually have the novel, even thou I can't read it in its entirely, but hey, it is a good learning tool.

Heh, I thought they would be good learning tools as well...but reading them is like wading through moloasses...I'm lucky if I get a page done in less than an hour...

The Volume 2 situation reminded me this whole fiasco I once had with our mutual acquaintance over at macross generation in regards to the Vol IV of Macross Plus International Edition LD.

I didn't know about this controversy. Did he say it came out?

He's been at this a lot longer than I thought...I first found out about it (as I'm sure you know) about a year ago. But then a Macross Generation member pointed me in the direction of a supposed interview with Kawamori during the production of Macross Zero, which was also definitely fabricated.

I hope he's calmed down now, but I have no way of checking, since I can't seem to log in to MG anymore... I wonder why... ;)

Macross 7 Trash (1994-2001), which is a side-story set on the Macross 7 fleet. Max is a rather pvitoal character, but other than that, the other Macross 7 characters barely make an appearance.

Macross 7 Trash was rereleased in December of 2009, in four thick volumes, with new new cover art.

What's the name of the main character of Macross 7? And what's the Spanish word for "Trash"?

(Actually, I have no idea if that's the real reason, but ya never know...)

YOUR RIGHT BUT I DON'T THINK THAT'S WHY IT WAS CALLED THAT.

UNLESS IT WAS JUST A TERM BEING USED LOOSELY LIKE PUNKS, OR FUNK, OR SOMETHING THAT WAS A COOL OR HIP WORD BACK THEN. WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER JIVE.

To be quite frank, I don't know why it's called that...although the story is about a desperately poor kid who works his way up from the ghetto...

It's weird. There's very little mecha in it, it's mostly a sports/government conspiracy type of story.
