This volume 2 has been the subject of several rumors. At one point, some one, I think it was over at rt.com; swear that he had volume 2.... Its like the Volume 4 of the International LD edition of Macross Plus published by Bandai.

Heh, of course not.

I can absolutely positively say that there is no Volume 2.

At the amazon.co.jp Macross novel Listmania ( www.amazon.co.jp/小説版-マクロスシリーズ/lm/R31VZ1C...lmt_srch_f_1_rsrrrr0 ), Macross Plus is number 18 on the list. It says right there : (※2巻は未発売), which means "Volume 2 in unreleased."

On the Macross Plus page for Japanese Wikipedia ( ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/マクロスプラス ), on the right-hand side, you see credits for "OVA: Macross Plus," followed by "Macross Plus: MOVIE EDITION," followed by "Novel: Macross Plus." At the very end of that, it says "巻数 全1巻" which means "Number of volumes: Series is complete - 1 Volume."

Also, in the book itself, the author says that she will never write Volume 2. I can scan the pages if you'd like.

So anyone saying they have Volume 2 is either mistaken or lying.

I actually have the novel, even thou I can't read it in its entirely, but hey, it is a good learning tool.

The Volume 2 situation reminded me this whole fiasco I once had with our mutual acquaintance over at macross generation in regards to the Vol IV of Macross Plus International Edition LD.
