We had some really severe storms last night which included at least two feet of rain and a total of 800 lightning flashes
and one of these lightning strikes hit the tree in the yard next to ours. Split it right down the middle too and somehow managed to kill our AC unit

all that red and yellow is the severe weather, and even after that screen shot, we had even more coming our way.

we got so lucky that damn thing didnt catch on fire
when it struck that tree it was like a gun shot right in your ear, but neither I or Justin had a clue it struck the tree right next to us.

sucks that our AC took a hit, so now we're having to use a crappy stand up fan, but hell its better than nothing.

I think we caught part of that the other day too. Instead of the lightning, we just got this weird on-and-off heavy rain in 15-20 minute intervals and some hail.
