My account "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." was hacked a few days ago cause the a-hole changed my password and I've been trying to get it back and so I've been counting on yahoo services which has been a BIG disappointment ;\
I have sent them all my details and this is all I keep getting

Their solution? open a new account! Forget the fact all your personal stuff is in the other because it doesn't matter, cause you can make a NEW one

well thanks for nothing! I already did that and I had to go through everything and update the email address so this idiot doesn't get into anything personal of mine *sigh*
But I've still got important things saved in that account, like activation codes for one ;\
special emails I've saved too
ugh i HATE hackers, they're the lowest form of life, and I'm ashamed to live on the same planet as these primates.
This isn't the first time I've lost something to them, my ebay account was also hacked into a year ago and someone thought it would be funny to sell illegal items under my name in hopes that I would get in serious trouble over it
but lucky for me i was able to talk to someone directly and close down that account.

also I got my account back, a friend of mine used some sort of password cracker and got it for me *sigh*

Yeah don't count on Yahoo to help you! I had the same exact issue when my ex hacked my account. Locked me out and i never did get back into it. Yahoo cust service was no help at all.


Personally i've switched to MSN for my email and only use Yahoo for the IM.

Sorry to hear about what happened Happy Penguins. I would be so fricking pissed. I've had my yahoo account for a while and a lot of people know that e-mail and a lot of my other accounts are linked to my yahoo account. I do have a few other accounts though...one or two hotmail accounts...two aim e-mail accounts..I think three gmail accounts...I think I had some account at gmx and maybe one at lycos that I set up recently because I was surprised they were still around. Any e-mail I set up is for a reason.

just watch out for phishing sites, there is one I heard of thats disguised as the yahoo login page.
