Last night was the Roast of Sir Richard Epcar @ PMX Anime Convention.

The evenings festivities started w/ a forum by HG talking about upcoming toys and other misc. stuff...Next though was the VAs coming in and doing a Q&A for the audience.

Lastly, came the Main Attraction The Roast...

This was a fun filled jib/jab rock-em sock-em robot event that was full of jokes and love for our resident giant Richard Epcar. I was the MC for the evening and Michael Sorich was Roastmaster.

If you have never had the pleasure of meeting any of the VAs let me just say that they are some of the most nicest and personable people on the planet. I dunno if is just their demeanor or they love attention or something else but these people are just open to talking to the fans, giving autographs and asking nothing in return except good old fashion fun! In these last 2 wks I have got to know some of them and they are just ACES!! Every one of them.

This roast was also a Charity event and we raised a lot of money for their chosen charity LupusLA...If you want to make a donation goto their website LupusLA.org, but if it doesnt work just find a number online to call or goto PMX's website to give there.

Last yr during this event we Roasted Mike Reynolds, next yr we have someone in mind but I will not say until we get more details.

Those of you who were able to come I am grateful and thankful that you were able to make it and hope you had a wonderful time because I know for a fact that the VAs all did! Especially Ellyn & Richard.

There will be a podcast of this event posted. I dunno when but when I do I will post a link onto this thread and you guys and gals may watch it and enjoy the slaughter err Roast that was Sir Epcar.
