On it right now, seems to be built ala firefox technology in java.

Very light and fast.

So far its only available for xp and vista

I would pass on this, if from what i have read about the copyrights on all webpages visited, I really would not be happy about sharing all photos on my computer with the world at large.
I read somewhere on the web today, about chrome having the ability to pickup from the hard drive, cannot believe that this would be better than napster issue that has been on going.

Well technically all browsers and webpages "pickup from the harddrive" hence cookies and all that.

I was listening to a podcast about Chrome and Google plans to use it as it uses its email service, gathering the data for advertisement. I mean its what it already does now. For example lets say I am in GMail and I email someone about Robotech.

The ads inside google will point to Robotech related ads. Its not like its trying to get you or something. Simply another extension of what it already does.

Still not sure if I will use it.

I'm just paranoid about that sort of thing, but I got rid of it anyway because I didnt like it.
