Mr Emmanuel Shiu is a San Francisco-based conceptual artist and matte painter, originally hailing from Hong Kong, China. His professional work includes films like Hellboy, The Day After Tomorrow and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow—though his contributions to the latter were modest.

There is some impressive concept art for Hellboy, among other films, on display at his Website, and in this particular depiction one can perhaps see some Sky Captain influence after all?

This painting is mainly done with paint in photoshop.But I did use some pictures in there of the ship that I shot.

IT'S CONSIDERED FAN ART.

HE DID TELL ME HE STARTED WORKING ON A PORTFOLIO FOR WARNER BROTHERS THOUGHT. SO I GUESS BY ASKING US WHAT WE WOULD LIKE HE WOULD ADD THAT TO HIS PORTFOLIO FOR SUBMISSION TO WB RLAM WHEN HIRING FOR PRODUCTION STARTS.

Too bad the veritech's will look different when production beginds because his art would make for some fucking crazy RLAM mecha pan's.

I say his next project is to draw Minmei and Lisa naked, only wearing thongs, holding hands and staring into each other's eyes!!!!! YEAH!!!
