YEAH, WE GOT THAT.
A WHOLE HEADACHE. LOT OF WRONG DETAILS WITH IT SO WE STARTING FROM SCRATCH.

Totally agree going with the sleeker look than animated chunky look.

Be more comfortable to wear and easier to move in too.

So How goes the build you guys are doing?

THANKS. THE FANS ARE DOING MOST OFF THE WORK. MY HATS OFF TO THEM. I GOT A FULL TIME JOB SO I CAN ONLY HELP WHERE I CAN. EXPENSES AND OTHER LITTLE THINGS.

WE WANT TO GO WITH AN OFFICIAL OPEN PROP SHOP WITH MEMBERS SO GETTING EVERYTHING TOGETHER IS A LOT OF WORK AND COST MONEY. SO YEAH, WE KINDA PUT OTHER THINGS ASIDE BUT LIKE I SAID, IT'S BETTER FOR THE FUTURE.

WE GOT A CNC MILL AND THAT WAS NOT CHEAP. AND WE STILL NEED A VACUUM FORMER AS WELL AS A 3D PRINTER. LASER ENGRAVER WILL ALSO BE ADDED.

WORKING EXTRA HOURS TO GET THIS STUFF PAYED OFF. WHO KNOWS, MAYBE WE CAN BRING BACK ROBOTECH MODELS WHEN ALL IS DONE.


THOUGHT CAD PROGRAMING IS A MUST SO LEARNING THAT AS WELL. ALSO USE OF SOLID WORKS.

Such a shame you guys are US based & I am UK.

I only know a few people with the same zest as me for wanting similar over here, alas Not all of us are close enough to get something like this going.

As for hardware, yeah 3D Printer an Vac Form unit would be awesome
