JUST ADDING SOME RECENT MODELS. WE ALMOST THERE WITH OUR CNC MACHINE AND THEN A DELTA 3D PRINTER TO FOLLOW.
THE 3D PRINTER WE BEEN DOING RESEARCH SINCE A LONG TIME AND SETTLED ON A CNC BUILD FOR SIZE. BUT WE ALSO LIKING THE 3D DETLA FOR THE HEIGHT. PLUS WITH THE CNC MACHINE WE COULD BUILD IT OURSELVES TO SAVE ON COST AND YOU GUYS SAVE IN THE LONG RUN.

I KNOW THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ROBOTECH BUT GETTING THE MACHINE TIGHTENING UP TAKES TIME AND MONEY.
Soras Keyblade being cut on the Minionator. It's hauling ass because we just added a new computer and smoothstepper and I decided to up the feed rate...a lot.
This would have taken almost 24 hours before but now we're looking at about 6 hours at the high end.

Hey Guys not sure if we have any Brit's here following this thread & FB.
Currently working out the CVR-3 Armour and Helmet to wear.
However first thing I did get sorted is Weapon.
IO know they are in the works for the US to have them but with the way the UK now has become with importing RIFs, figured better safe than sorry and got that covered within these shores.
A Good friend of mine who does prop building commissions made this for me to the measurements already out there for 1:1 scale.
I wanted also detachable rifle/carbine option too and for a super firm connection a little creative license was taken.
Currently searching for a Hard care that will be appropriate to stow this little set inside and act as a rather nice display piece too.

Thanks
Awesome job with the build. Just awaiting a Hard gun case to stow this bad boy in.
Think having a Gallant that breaks down is just so cool
I am currently looking at the CV-3 Lower Leg/Feet armour :/ No idea where to start on that but thinking FOAM build then fibreglass/resin it for strength.
How have others tackled the Lower leg/feet armour?

WELL, WE GOING WITH THE TOYNAMI DESIGN OF THE MPC CYCLONE.
IT'S MUCH THINNER THAN THE BULKY ANIMATION VERSION. ALSO USE FOAM SINCE IT CAN BE HEAT BENDED TO FIT THE BODY WITHOUT HAVING THE RUBBING OF THE PLASTIC ON YOUR LEGS RUN TO MUCH.
