Okay, this is the basic timeline I've come up with for my fan fiction. Its less than half completed, but I figured I would go ahead and start posting some of it.

5,000,000 BCE - The Haydon reach Apotheosis and abandon their homeworlds in The Milky Way, Andromeda and Triangulum Galaxies. The last of their technology, The Flower of Life and secrets that would one day become the basis of Robotechnology, they leave scattered wherever they lay. The Forefathers of the Invid, nomadic space-faring race, encounter the Flower of Life on the world Xyleda in the Small Magellanic Cloud and it alters their evolutionary pattern.


120,000 BCE - The Haydon IV Awareness, residing in The Large Magellanic Cloud, having become defective, overrides its basic programming and begins interfering with human evolution in Archaic Homo Sapiens. A number of test subjects are brought to a new world, Cylesia in the Large Magellanic Cloud near the Haydon III/IV/V system, and 'elevated'.


114,000 BCE - Zor is born and shows great aptitude in biological science. Shortly before his father's birth, the Cylesian's develop FTL travel and begin colonizing space in their local vicinity. Senator Zol, Zor's father, is killed in an accident just before Zor enters the science academy. After gaining his science degree, Zor volunteers for the Aztraph mission to explore beyond the Periphery for signs of intelligent life. The voyage will last more than 12 years by the end (most of it spent for the crew in cryonic suspension).

The Aztraph, whose crew are still 'frozen' enters the Haydon system and encounters the Haydon V Dyson Swarm, where the ship is captured, its crew offloaded and taken to Haydon III. The Awareness, on Haydon IV, takes special interest in the crew, noting that the experiment started millenia before is proceeding. Zor is examined closely by The Awareness and it determines that he is the most suitable candidate. His conciousness is expanded and he gains knowledge over a great many scientific disciplines. This becomes the basis for Zor's Robotechnology which uses fallen Haydon bio-technology.

On the final leg of the Aztraph's journey (which is being directed by The Awareness), Zor encounters the Flower of Life on a world devoid of higher intelligent life. Samples are taken by the crew and Zor makes his first breakthrough realising the potential for the plant. He fashions the first Reflex Matrix and refines Sekiton. With his expanded intellect, Zor makes a series of leaps that apply this new compound to a broad array of fields from electrical generation to cellular biology. He also makes the discovery that the pollen spores from the flowers will bond with flora native to a different eco-system to produce more Flowers of Life.

Zor returns to Cylesia and begins gathering like-minded scientists and military officers to which he unveils his plan to seize control of the Republic. Formulation of The Zentraedi DNA Strain of humans by Zor taken from the best, brightest and most elite soldiers in the military. The leader of the new Zentraedi Warrior-Cult is Breetai Tul. Soon afterwards, the first primitive Battlepod, ancestor of the Lotzor, is unveiled and adopted. Zor declares himself to be the first Robotech Master after which he becomes the central authority in the new Robotech Republic. Start of The Cult of the Triumvirate.

Zor, under compulsion from The Awareness, secretly returns to Haydon III and resurrects The Haydonites (the bio-mechanical bodies of The Haydon as they reached Apotheosis). His first Haydonite companion/advisor is Vowad. This Haydonite will secretly direct Zor over many lifetimes.


113,000 BCE - Zor, leading an exploratory mission into the Small Magellanic Cloud, encounters The Forefathers of the Invid. As they are on the verge of Apotheosis, they have retreated to their homeworld, bringing their race to live once again at their place of birth. Unable to defend themselves, they are overwhelmed after a protracted war against Zor's Zentraedi forces and enslaved. Their homeworld, now a smoking ruin, is abandoned after all the resources are drained from it.


102,000 BCE - Zor establishes three research colonies in secret. One is on a minor moon of a planet at the far end of The Milky Way galaxy: Tirol (settled by members of The Cult of the Triumvirate). Another is established in the Andromeda galaxy near the far periphery: Banaat (settled by pure-strain members of The Zentraedi Warrior-Cult). The final base is established on Earth in the Milky Way after Zor learned that this is where humanity originated. To each of these groups of colonists he gives a great deal of his research and technology as he has begun to become distrustful of his Zentraedi warrior slaves.


100,000 BCE - Zor sends the repository of his knowledge to Earth (a Seren Dereta-class Command Battleship, aka the ASA-01) when he realizes the have Zentraedi gotten out of control. After dispatching the ship, Zor and his command staff, including Breetai Tul, are killed when a Zentraedi force attacks the world they are hiding upon. Only Vowad survives. Collapse of the Robotech Republic when the combined Zentraedi Grand Armada (some 25 million warships) level most of the surface of Cylesia and destroy much of the planetary systems' colonies and defenses. Unfortunately, the colony on Earth perishes when a Zentraedi strike force invades. Shortly afterwards, the ASA-01 crashes in North America. The site becomes a deep lake near what will someday be the Canadian/US border. All that remains of the colony is the AI Super Computer located on the Moon.

The Forefathers of the Invid, knowing their doom is at hand, use all their remaining power and science to birth three beings who will carry their genetic memory and what little of their science is left. These three are The Invid Regent, Regess and Yarrow. The Regent and Regess travel together to found a new world in the Sculptor Dwarf Galaxy and bring forth the two tribes of The Invid. Yarrow, fashioning for itself a mobile hiveship travels to the Triangulum Galaxy in an effort to get as far from Zor's Zentraedi as possible.

Fighting between the remains of the Zentraedi Grand Armada rages for thirty-five thousand years. Countless planets where The Flower of Life grow are 'cleansed', leaving behind tens of thousands of worlds where human settlers are wiped out. Much of the technological might of the Robotech Republic is shattered in the conflicts that continue for millenia. Whole sectors of space become graveyards full of Robotech mecha, ships and bases. Near the end, running out of SLMH and Sekiton to fuel their ships and mecha, several small fleets of Zentraedi ships land and settle two worlds a scant eighty light years from Tirol. Over time, these survivors will evolve to become the Praxians and Perytonians.


50,000 BCE - The descendants of the colonist on Tirol and Banaat, having gained ascendence over much of the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies respectively, encounter one another while exploring. The first meeting ends in bloodshed when one side opens fire on the other. What starts off as a misunderstanding becomes a full-fledged holy war as both groups claim sole right to being the heirs of Zor. Scouring the space lanes for salvaged Zentraedi technology, an arms race begins as both sides begin developing cloned soldiers based on the ancient Zentraedi DNA found in many of the ruins.


10,000 BCE - The Masters of Tirol, now resurgent in their war against The Disciples of Zor of Banaat, resurrect a clone of Zor for the first time. He bio-engineers a substitute for The Invid Flowers of Life which produces a less robust, though still potent, Sekiton. Given its lack of ability to spontaneously bond with native flora, the new Zor clone bio-engineers the Cha-Cha or Pollinators in an attempt to spread the Zor Flowers (as they are known). Increasingly this weaker plant begins to replace the aging Flowers of Life in Bio-Energy Culture Pods.The amount of Stabilized Liquid Metallic Hydrogen able to be extracted from the sap is less than 2% of what could be extracted from FoL sap.


2,000 BCE - The Robotech Masters of Tirol, having uncovered a legend about Zor's final resting place, locate the ancient ruin where his body and that of Breetai Tul lay entombed. From this they learn of Earth, though not its location. They resurrect another clone of Zor as well as a new clone of Breetai Tul and set them searching for the ASA-01. Over the next four thousand years, clone after clone of Breetai and Zor are brought forth to continue the search.

Onwards and upwards: The Anti-Unification War.....

2012 CE - United States escalates The War on Terror by attacking Iran and Pakistan. The People's Republic of China, The Russian Federation and numerous members of The United Nations condemn the actions. After years of overspending, the United States economy collapses due to the extreme devaluation of the Federal Reserve Note. Civil chaos leads the US National Government to declare martial law and suspend The Constitution.


2014 - Israel brings the world over the edge by launching a pre-emptive total nuclear exchange with every country in the Middle-East. The United States National Government proclaims its solidarity with the now isolated nation. Start of World War III as China and Russia invade and occupy Israel and much of Central Asia. Limited nuclear exchange between Pakistan, China, Russia against The United States edges the world closer to oblivion. Industrial, military and communications are targeted, sparing those citizens lucky enough not to be near deep water ports or military bases.


2015 - The United States Navy is dealt several crippling blows that results in the loss of all US carriers and most surface support vessels. The air war in Central Asia sees the destruction of most of the world's remaining 5th Generation Stealth-capable aircraft utilized by the US, NATO, Israel, India, China and Russia.


2016 - End of World War III. Losses stand close to 800 million worldwide. Numerous areas are irradiated due to use of widespread tactical and limited strategic nuclear forces. End of martial law in the United States when the government is overthrown. The new United States declares itself neutral and withdraws from The United Nations. The worlds' militaries are shattered.


2020 - With the United States no longer carrying membership, The United Nations formally disbands after a series of scandals reveal the IMF's role in fostering The War on Terror and eventually World War III.


2034 - After nearly a generation of peace, Mankind finally returns to the Moon and a permanent habitation is begun. An international civilian aerospace consortium, The Proteus Group, funds the project. Personnel from Russia, Germany, China, Japan and The United States participate.


2036 - Moon Base Luna is completed. Her first commander is Russian Space Forces Colonel Henryk Jozef Glovalsky. Construction begins on a pair of mass drivers near Luna to facilitate transportation of lunar material back to Earth.


May 3rd 2039 - After searching much of the Orion Arm for Zor's Battlefortress, a single Zentraedi Seron Thoun-class Battleship emerges from hyperspace near the Moon. It is immediately fired upon by Zor's derelict ship, cutting off its possibility of escaping. It crashes some 50 kilometers from Moon Base Luna. The lake the ASA-01 was beneath is vapourized off, leaving it open to the air for the first time in 102 millenia.


May 4th 2039 - The ASA-02 (crashed Seren Thoun) is explored by a Lunar research team led by Russian Space Forces Colonel Henryk Glovalsky. With him is US Air Force Captain TR Edwards, Canadian Air Force Captain BD Andrews, Chinese Doctor of Astrophysics Oliver Chang Yi and German Doctor of Plasma Physics Emile Lang. The ASA-01 is also explored by an international research team led by US Army Captain Eli Anatole Leonard. With him is Chinese PLA Navy Lt (jg) Tsien Xui Li, PLA Army Captain Zhu Lwen, Canadian Doctor of Xeno-biology Lazlo Zand, Canadian Air Force Captain Wyatt Moran and Russian Air Landing Forces Captain Dmitri Motokoff.


May 6th 2039 - Zor's Super Computer on the Moon, the mainframe of the Enhanced Virtual Entity Artificial Intelligence (EVE) temporarily overrides all Earth comm traffic by asking for Asylum from the Earth's various nations. It warns humanity of the Zentraedi, though the information it can give them is out-of-date as it does not know of the developments since the fall of the ancient Robotech Republic. EVE also informs the world of the science of Robotechnology.


May 7th 2039 - World Congress is called for by many to address the very real threat of invasion from outer space. The seeds of the Anti-Unification War begin as almost immediately various oligarchs and plutocrats attempt to regain the power lost to them with the end of the UN and IMF. Secretly, measures are taken by the former IMF members to isolate the EVE AI from the world's Internet.


June 2039 - Detailed surveys of the two crashed ships as well as the former colony station on the Moon nets humanity an absolute treasure trove of information. Within reach now is a complete and total liberation of humanity from energy dependence by use of hydrogen fuel cells. However, due to maneuvering by various groups, this technology is strictly controlled. It is decided that the ASA-01, since it is severely damaged, will be salvaged to rebuild the ASA-02 and build the SDFs -01 Phoenix and -02 Odyssey. Crash program initiated to develop human mecha based on alien technology. Construction begins on a series of mass drivers across the Earth to facilitate moving cargo cheaply into orbit and to the Moon.


July 2039 - Construction begins on the Lake Superior Orbital Elevator to ferry the salvaged parts of the ASA-01. Construction begins on the Earth-Moon Lagrange Point 5 spacedocks. Expansion of Moon Base Luna begins, which never formally ends until after the Final Battle of Reflex Point in 2084. Reconstruction of the ASA-02, renamed the UES Spica, begins.


August 2039 - Emil Lang and Lazlo Zand announce the formation of The Robotech Research Group: a transnational think-tank and consortium to develop Robotech science applications. A host of scientists and engineers, including Adam Bronson and Harry Penn, join the organization. Other members include Col. Henryk Glovalsky, Captain Anatole Leonard and Captain Wyatt Moran and, unknown to all, EVE as personified holographically by Dr. of Cybernetics Becky Franklin.


September 2039 - First successful detonation of an 'enhanced thermonuclear reaction weapon', aka Reflex Warhead, on the Far Side of the Moon by The Proteus Group's Space Weapon's Advisory Council. Sympathizers within the program leak the plans to a proto-Anti-Unification group called The Faithful (a quasi-Christian religious organization that fears that building the SDF-01 will corrupt Mankind's collective soul, leading to all humans going to Hell).


October 2039 - Lake Superior Orbital Elevator completed when the Edmund Fitzgerald Skyhook becomes the anchor point. Additional elevators are begun off Sydney, Karachi, Hong Kong, Cape Town and Rio de Janeiro. Formulation and implementation of the Grand Cannon-series of fixed Reflex Cannons and other Anti-Zentraedi space-defense measures begins.


January 2040 - Tensions begin to grow as monied special interests subvert the World Congress before it can adopt the United Earth Constitution. Among the breakthrough technologies that are strictly controlled are the processes to make bio-metal, bio-ceramic, bio-polymers and the Hydrogen Battery Terminal (HBT) cellular storage method. This allows corporations with a vested interest remain in power. Both mass drivers near Moon Base Luna are finished and begin operating.


April 2040 - Construction begins on the Grand Cannon-series, the first of which is based in Alaska. Subsequent locations are Colombia, Western Australia, Sierra Leonne, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Qinghai, Kazakhstan, Greenland, Antarctica and the Moon.


May 2040 - Keel of the SDF-01 Phoenix laid down along with the UES Churchill Fleet Carrier and Triumph Light Cruiser at the Earth-Moon L-5 Fleet Depot. Additional keels are rapidly laid.


August 1st 2040 - Unveiling of the new line of Celestian Aerospace Corporation's Robert Crippen-class civilian multipurpose space shuttles in Titusville, Florida marks the mass entry of civilians into outerspace. These modular shuttles can be configured for a variety of missions and are capable of ultra-long distance travel (Earth to Jupiter).


August 4th 2040 - Unveiling of the new line of the joint Sughoi/Mikolev Yuri Gagarin-class civilian multipurpose space shuttles at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. This shuttle, much like the Crippen-class, is capable of multiple mission profiles including ultra-long distance travel.


September 2040 - First manned mission to the Asteroid belt and Jupiter's moons by Sasha Chang, a wealthy Russian-Chinese playboy/adventurer in a Gagarin-class shuttle.


November 2040 - Keel of the UESS Leviathan Submersible Ballistic Missile Attack Carrier is laid down. The remaining fourteen of the class quickly follow.


January 2041 - Adoption of the UEG Constitution. Almost immediately it is subverted and supression of numerous groups around the world begins. EVE, understanding the danger of a fractured world to respond to the Zentraedi, initiates a program to download a copy of itself into a cybernetic body and place it amongst the Earth's populace. Knowing the weakness of the Zentreadi Warrior-Cult to cultural contamination designs J.A.N.I.C.E. EM. - Junctioned Artificial Neuro-Integrated Cybernetic Entity Mark1. Janice Em, as the cyborg is known, appears from out of nowhere as a pop singer and almost overnight gains a significant following.


February 2041 - The newly formed United Earth Multi-National Force is tasked with 'peacekeeping operations' around the globe. This is the first spark that will fan the blaze of the First Anti-Unification War. The Global & Military Police, internationalizing all military and civilian police & intelligence services, is formalized. They will be considered the ultimate watchdog organization with regards to the application of Robotechnology.


April 2041 - Keel of the SDF-02 Odyssey laid down along with the UES Corsair Corvette. Additional corvette keels are rapidly laid.


May 2041 - Formation of the Anti-Unification League, which includes various groups such as The Faithful and a number of nation states including: Israel, France, Reunified Korea, Singapore, India, Turkey, Algeria and Argentina. Among the list of grievances against the emergent United Earth Government is the draconian control of the technology salvaged from the ASA-01, ASA-02 and the, now isolated, EVE AI.


June 2041 - Secret unveiling of the Argentinian Sughoi/Mikolev SF-2 Broadsword and SFA-3 Scimitar (based on an early proposal for the A-110 Bat). These two vehicles will form the backbone of the AUL's air forces.


February 2042 - Construction begins on a UEG forward observation base: Mars Base Ares. Construction begins on Anti-Zentraedi killer-satellites (beam and missile platforms) in Near-Earth Orbit.


July 2042 - Mass production of the FA-109 Falcon 6th Generation Air Supremacy Fighter, the first of The Century Series, begins.


June 2043 - Colonization of Near-Earth Objects (asteroids) begins by both the UEG and AUL. Mass production of the M-9 Dark Knight Main Battle Tank begins.


October 2043 - Mass production of the M-10 Jannissary Armoured Infantry Fighting Vehicle begins. First successful test of a manned Faster-than-Light system; the UES Prometheus makes a jump from Earth orbit to the far side of the Moon.


February 2044 - Start of the Anti-Unification War when the orbital elevator attached to the port city of Karachi is leveled with a Reflex Weapon fired from an Israeli ballistic missile submarine INS Barracuda. Janice Em publicly condemns the act and calls for a peaceful settlement to the conflict. Fighting begins breaking out across the planet. Washington DC is leveled by a Reflex Weapon in retaliation for the US ballistic missile submarine USS Alaska unleashing its full might on the various military installations in Reunified Korea.


March 2044 - Launch of the UESS Leviathan. A member of The Faithful smuggles a dirty thermonuclear weapon into the perimeter around the ASA-01 (which is three quarter's salvaged) and detonates it. The resulting fallout buries what is left of the ship (which includes the three burned out Reflex Furnaces where Zor stored his Reflex Factory and the 2 Flower of Life greenhouses). The area is contaminated and has to be abandoned. This sets back the SDF-01 and SDF-02's completion by several years.


April 2044 - First FTL-probe, UES Prometheus II, launched to the Alpha Centauri system to search for an Earth-like planet. Toronto is leveled by a pair of reflex weapons fired from an AUL Scimitar Space-Fighter/Bomber in orbit. The President of the UEG, in Toronto, is among those killed. The GMP approaches US Army Lt. Col. Anatole Leonard about acting as a double agent to topple the AUL from within. Due to his family ties to various groups, Leonard agrees. Mass production of the A-110 Bat Aerospace Attack Craft begins.


May 2044 - After a series of near-detonations, averted by vigorous anti-missile screening, in various strategic locations across the planet by both UEG and AUL forces, a treaty is signed in Switzerland banning the use of Reflex Weapons by all sides against fellow humans.


October 2044 - Launch of the AUS Thermopylae Light Cruiser, based on stolen plans for the UES Triumph. As the months go by, the AUL launches several more cruisers.


December 2044 - Launch of the AUS Miranda Frigate based on stolen plans for the UES Corsair. As the months go by, the AUL launches several dozen more frigates.


January 2045 - Launch of the UES Corsair Corvette.


February 2045 - Launch of the UES Triumph Light Cruiser under the command of Major General Henryk Glovalski.


March 2045 - The keels for 20 Elohim-class FTL-capable Modular Colony Ships are laid down.


July 2nd 2045 - USAF 1st Lt. Shawn Arnold and an AUL sleeper cell attempt to hijack the incomplete UES Churchill from its shipyard only to be stopped by USAF Captain Roy Fokker in the prototype YVF-1 Raptor 'Skull One' Veritech.


July 20th 2045 - Mass production of the MWR-Excaliber series Destroids begins: Excaliber, Centurion, Raider and Shark. These mecha prove an absolute nightmare to the AUL ground forces in engagements across the planet.


September 2045 - First recorded battle in space between AUF and UEMNF forces. The AUL loses the AUS Miranda, Circe and Delphi frigates and the Thermopylae light cruiser. The UEF loses the UES Corsair and Barbarosa corvettes. The UES Triumph is heavily damaged and has to be put into spacedock. For his part in the battle, Major General Glovalsky is promoted to Lieutenant General and given command of the SDF-01 Phoenix.


July 2046 - Mass production of the VF-1 Raptor Air Superiority Veritech begins. USAF Skull Squadron receives the first allotment and is used to great effect against the Anti-Unification League in the final months of the war. The unit, which includes TR Edwards, Roy Fokker, Jack Kramer, BD Andrews and Rick Hunter, becomes famous for their ability to engage superior numbers of AUF fighters and emerge victorious. Unknown to most, though, is the high attrition rate amongst The Skulls.


August 2046 - Launch of the UES Churchill Fleet Carrier. Mass production of the MBR-Gladiator Destroid series begins. Production of the MAR-Thundercracker Artillery Destroid in limited numbers begins.


September 2046 - Construction begins on the Ceres Fleet Depot where the UEMNF Space Fleet will be based.


May 2047 - The Andrews Incident leads to the AUL gaining working models of VF-1 and YVA-2 Fury Veritechs. Death of BD Andrews at the hands of Roy Fokker.


August 2047 - Official end of the Anti-Unification War, though fighting continues for several more years in isolated places. Treaty of Antarctica signed.


November 2047 - Collapse of the AUL. Dissident scientists and personnel flee Earth-space aboard the few remaining AUL space ships and settle on the Main Belt Asteroid 4 Vesta and Trojan Asteroid 624 Hektor. Dominance of the Earth by the UEG achieved. Those few remaining AUL-aligned Near-Earth Asteroid colonies are effectively isolated. Most are abandoned within months. USAF 1st Lt. Rick Hunter, disgusted with the war and the deaths of his fellow Skull Squadron mates, resigns his commission and resumes civilian life.


December 2047 - Mass production of the VA-2 Fury begins. USAF Vanguard Squadron is the first to receive the new attack craft. Launch of the UES Spica.


March 2048 - After-action reports and other data compiled by the GMP paint a disturbing picture to some. A report is written up by the senior most analysts that details the abuses and reasons for the Anti-Unification War. Damning evidence is presented which brings to light the monied interests inside the UEG that also funded the AUL in an effort to pit both sides against each other. It also points to the numerous security leaks that lead to the AUL gaining vital weapons technology and being able to mass produce it before the UEG. The general conclusion is that the technology disparity around the world could be alleviated easily with de-classification of Robotechnology. Furthermore, blowback from the war will likely affect humanity for more than a generation. The report is buried by the GMP senior command and the analysts are broken up and all assigned to various backwater posts.


April 2048 - Launch of the first Elohim-class Modular Colony Ship to the Alpha Centauri A-3, marking the first exo-solar manned mission.


May 2048 - UEG Senate Armed Services Committee hears the testimony of numerous military personnel over a series of weeks concerning the Anti-Unification conflict. Major General Glovalsky, Major Roy Fokker, Lt. Col. Anatole Leonard and Dr. Emil Lang are among those that testify.


July 2048 - Anatole Leonard is contacted by one of his former handlers and given a copy of the suppressed GMP report due to his appearance at the Senate hearings. Leonard calls a meeting of those he trusts: Henryk Glovalsky, Emil Lang, Lazlo Zand, Wyatt Moran (now retired from the military), Roy Fokker, Dmitri Motokoff and Dr. Becky Franklin/EVE (utilizing the Janice Em cyborg body). The group discusses the findings of the GMP analysts and the fact that the UEG has already rotted from within. They pledge to do what they can to change the course of the Earth to prevent another round of bloodshed for unification.


September 2048 - Anatole Leonard is promoted to Colonel and placed in command of a Rapid Reaction Force testing Destroids in Antarctica near the new Grand Cannon. Over time this unit will begin secretly testing new weapons platforms as they are developed by The Robotech Research Group.


February 2049 - The new colony of Tellus is fully established on Alpha Centauri A-3.


March 2049 - Mass production of the VFA-3 Banshee Space Superiority Veritech begins. Dr.'s Emil Lang and Lazlo Zand are assigned to the SDF-01 Phoenix as part of the Robotech Research Group's advisory board to Lieutenant General Glovalsky. The 'Super Raptor' FASTPack and 'Armoured Raptor' GBP-01 armaments are tested for the first time and adopted for all space-based VF-1 Raptor's.


June 2049 - Launch of the UES Corsair II captained by USAF Lt. Colonel Daniel Owens. Flight operations for the ship rest with USAF Captain Lisa Hayes. Skull Squadron's Vermillion Flight and Vanguard Squadron's Cobalt Flight are assigned to the Corsair II. Russian Airlanding Forces Lt. Col. Dmitri Motokoff is assigned to the UEMNF Army Force aboard the SDF-01.


October 2049 - Wyatt Moran announces his intention to run for the UEG Senate as part of the Technocrat Party.


January 2050 - USAF 1st Lt. Rick Hunter, by an act of the UEG President, is recalled to active service and placed in command of Skull Squadron's Vermillion Flight.

February 2050 - Mass production of the Pegasus-class Assault shuttle begins.


March 2050 - USAF 1st Lt. Isabella 'Izzy' Riber assigned as pilot of Vanguard Squadron's Cobalt 2 VA-2 Fury Veritech. She soon develops a relationship with Rick Hunter. Completion of the Ceres Fleet Depot. Mass production of the Phoenix-class Orbital Heavy Transport begins.


May 2050 - By warrant of the US Secretary of the Army, former combat medic Staff Sergeant Kyle Riber, fiance to Lisa Hayes and first cousin to 'Izzy', is returned to active service at the rank of Warrant Officer One (W-1). He is assigned to the 1st Battalion, Special Service Regiment on the SDF-01 under Colonel Dmitri Motokoff.


July 2050 - Launch of the SDF-01 Phoenix and a pair of Gallipoli-class Brigade Landing Ships. The shakedown mission is to escort the Elohim-class colony ship Ahuramazd to the Tau Ceti star system to establish the colony of Eden. Assigned to the fleet is the UES Spica, the Churchill-class Carriers: Churchill and Bismarck, the Triumph-class Cruisers: Trumph and Valiant and eight Corsair-class Corvettes: Corsair II, Buccaneer, Broadsword, Aegis, Marauder, Cutlass, Rapier and Conquest. Start of the 1st Robotech War when the UES Corsair II is attacked while on reconnaissance in the far fringes of the system.


August 2050 - After a month of playing cat-and-mouse, Breetai attempts to lay a trap to capture the SDF-01 in a pitched battle near the rings of the Tau C gas giant Lagash. However, Lieutenant General Glovalsky foils the trap and breaks through the Zentraedi line in a blitzkrieg counterattack. All of the Earth vessels suffer significant damage but are able to execute a hyperspace jump to the Delta Pavonis system to evade pursuit. In the confusion, Breetai is unable to follow the departing ships and must scatter his fleet to again search for them.


October 2050 - With two months of peace, Glovalsky's beleaguered forces are able to fully repair their ships. However, due to damage sustained in the battle in early August, provisioning falls low. Since Delta Pavonis 4, Gaia, is an M-class planet, it was on the list for future colonization efforts. As such, colonization mission parameters called for having pre-positioned supplies on-site for the colony. Unknown to Glovalsky, Khryon Kravshera anticipated this move and attempts to lay a trap for the SDF-01, using electro-magnetic mines, by forcing the pre-position ship to de-orbit at a place of his choosing. Battle of Gaia. Combined arms forces (Destroids, armor, Veritechs and infantry) under Brigadier General Maistroff hold off an attack by Khyron's mecha while the UEF fleet attempts to lift off. Rick Hunter rescues Lisa Hayes from the downed resupply ship whose reflex furnace detonates, destroying the electro-magnetic mines thereby allowing the UEF Fleet to achieve orbit. Breetai's forces in orbit are brushed aside as the Earth forces again punch through their lines, losing the UES Triumph and Bucanneer. Near-death of 'Izzy' Riber forces her to be put into cryogenic suspension (where she will remain until development of The Xaylon Process in 2073). Kyle Riber's relationship with Lisa is pushed beyond the breaking point and their engagement is called off. Lisa Hayes is promoted to Major, awarded The Medal of Honor and made the Air Operations Officer of the SDF-01 for her nearly suicidal actions during The Battle of Gaia.


November 2050 - 1st Lt. Rick Hunter is promoted to Captain and awarded The Air Force Cross for his actions during The Battle of Gaia and for rescuing Lisa Hayes.


December 2050 - After a three-month period of cat-and-mouse in the Delta Pavonis system, Glovalsky again foils a trap, this time set by Azonia Laplamis's forces. In the ensuing breakout, the UES Bismark, Valiant, Corsair II, Broadsword and Aegis are destroyed. Shortly after, the tiny UEF fleet space folds to the Beta Hydri system. Vermillion Flight is reassigned to the SDF-01's air wing, bringing Skull Squadron back to full strength.


January 2051 - Breetai again finds the SDF-01 and engages it in a series of skirmishes to wear down the Earth forces. This will go on for several months as Glovalsky manages to keep his fleet from being caught in a pitched battle.


March 2051 - Unfortunately for the UEMNF, Earth has been located and under covert observation by this point. A special infiltration team is gathered: Rico-33676, Konda-88275, Bron-2599, Miriya Parino, Seloy Deparra, Kazianna Hesh, Grel Anfalaz and Gerao Betaga. They are inserted into a Near-Earth colony to gather information. EVE, realizing that the Zentraedi have now located the Earth, begins to ramp up Janice Em's presence in hopes of contaminating the Zentraedi with pyschological warfare. Breetai's spies are only able to learn that it is erroneously believed that Zor's ship was destroyed in a thermonuclear blast , thus thinking that the fallen Factory must be on the SDF-01.


April 2051 - No longer able to successfully dodge Breetai's fleet, Glovalsky gambles that the Earth forces are ready and executes a hyperspace fold to Earth. Breetai's fleet, now contaminated by the returned spy teams, is recalled by Dolza who cannot understand why it is Zor's Factory hasn't been recovered. SDF-01 is placed in spacedock for refitting and repairs. Breetai's forces unwittingly contaminate large portions of Dolza's Grand Fleet. Skull Squadron's VF-1 FASTPack enabled Super Raptor's are changed out for FASTPack enabled VFA-3 Super Banshee's. Roy Fokker promoted to Lt. Colonel.


June 2051 - Breetai Tul is given command of the Imperial-class Fleet and charged with locating Zor's fallen factory, which is now believed to be onboard the SDF-01. Breetai invades the Earth solar system, forming a perimeter near Saturn. Skull Squadron and Major Lisa Hayes are temporarily detached and assigned to the UES Spica. Operation Cassini and The Battle of Saturn's Rings see's Breetai's forces freeze in combat numerous times due to cultural contamination and suffer a series of humiliating losses that costs him a number of his most powerful capital ships. Miriya Parino, Rico-33676, Konda-88275 and Bron-2599 defect to the Earth forces, bringing valuable intelligence to the beleaguered UEMNF. Rick Hunter and Lisa Hayes begin a relationship that, though rocky at first, lasts the rest of their lives.


August 2051 - Launch of the SDF-02 Odyssey. Breetai Tul, Kai'Exedore Formo, Azonia Laplamis and Khyron Kravshera offer terms of a truce with the United Earth Government. The Imperial-class Fleet is placed under Earth command. Ba'Dolza is informed of Breetai's betrayal and begins gathering The Grand Fleet for a massive final assault on Earth to find the whereabouts of Zor's fallen Reflex Factory. Plans begin to be formulated to stop Ba'Dolza, including PsyWarOps using Janice Em's sexual appeal to the overwhelming male population of Ba'Dolza's forces (some 75% of total Zentraedi). Kai'Exedore Formo is recalled by Ba'Dolza, taking with him a computer virus designed by EVE which plans to seize control of Dolza's Command Base and turn it over to the Earthlings. Lisa Hayes promoted to Lt. Colonel and made Air Operations Officer of Moon Base Luna. Secret unveiling of several new weapons platforms in Antarctica mostly centered around The Bahamut Project (transformable land-warfare mecha) including the XVHT-1 Eurotas Veritech Hovertank, XVM-1 Gallahad Veritech Jeep and XVR-10 Typhon MODAT Mk I (Military Operation Drive Armored Trooper) Veritech Tri-Cyclone.


September 2051 - Overhaul of the SDF-01 completed. Ba'Dolza invades the solar system. The Zentraedi Rain of Death devastates much of the planet, reducing the world's population from aproximately 8 billion to a little over 5.5 billion. Ba'Dolza manages to land several million Zentraedi troops before the The Grand Fleet and The Imperial-class Fleet destroy one another. Of the 5.8 million ships engaged, some 400,000 manage to spacefold out of the star system to relative safety. Ba'Dolza's Grand Fleet is reduced to a little over 2000 ships. Breetai Tul's Imperial-class Fleet is reduced to less than the 1000 strong Aldo-class Fleet he began with. The Earth forces, with the help of Kai'Exedore Formo and EVE acting as infiltrators, manage to capture Ba'Dolza's command base, one of the Automated Robotech Factories, though it is heavily damaged in the fighting. Heh, this is still considered the basic version as I have to go back and put in character birth dates and such. I'm currently stuck on the next part: The Malcontent Uprisings up to the Launch of the SDF-04 Liberator in 2063.

(Okay, because of the sheer level of information in this section, I'm going to go ahead and break it off at the birth of Roy Hunter. The second half of this section will be posted soon.)

October 2051 - Zentraedi forces on the Earth, after a brief period of disorganization, come under the command of Warlord Khorah Baqramis. He is the senior surviving commander of Dolza's Grand Fleet on Earth. He begins conducting a campaign across South America, Africa and Asia in an attempt to drive the surviving humans from their cities before burning them to the ground. Knowing that his enemy has superior technology, he attempts to overwhelm the
UEMNF with numbers.

US Army Colonel Eli Leonard's Rapid Reaction Force in Antarctica abandons its base and makes a desperate flight to Fort Esparanza in the Cordillera Occidental Andes mountain range in four prototype Jötunn-class Super Haulers. Among the equipment salvaged from Antarctica are several dozen combat ready prototypes of the XVHT-1 Eurotas Hovertank.

While cataloging the various areas of the Robotech Factory, now christened Space Station Liberty, Kai'Exedore Formo comes across an entry on the Final Weapon Cruisers and locates them in a previously sealed off section. He informs General Glovalsky about their intended use to completely destroy the Earth. These weapons will remain classified and sealed in their spacedock for years.

USAF Captain Rick Hunter is promoted to Major and Canadian Forces Air Command 2nd Lt. Max Sterling is promoted to Lieutenant.

Steps are taken to integrate friendly Zentraedi into Earth society. This has mixed results as many Zentraedi still feel the pull of The Imperative to Fight (most times referred to as simply The Imperative). Most Zentraedi under Breetai's command remain in space while large numbers of disaffected Zentraedi attempt to live in the shadows of Earth's ruined cities. Human cultural values still continue to be a major stumbling block in the emerging society.


November 2051 - Plans are drawn up to recolonize the Earth using two of the newest Elohim-class modular colony ships. This mission, lead by USAF Lt. Colonel Lisa Hayes, will be to re-establish the Lake Superior Orbital Elevator, clear the area around Thunder Bay, Ontario for a new settlement to bring stability to North America. This new settlement will act as the capital of a new United Earth Government and the headquarters for the United Earth Forces.

The Robotech Masters, having ascertained the loss of Dolza's Grand Fleet, undertake the mission to find Earth. Due to complications from lack of Monopole fuel ore and Sekiton reserves, they cannot make the full jump to Earth. Instead, they emerge 40 light years from Sol and begin the next leg of their journey using superluminal impulse. The decision is made to split their large fleet into several smaller battle groups. Several are sent to observe the human colonies and gather intelligence. One group carries the child clone Zor Prime, intending on inserting him and guiding his growth to be the ultimate spy for The Masters.


December 2051 - Breetai Tul assigns various mecha forces under the command of Khyron Kravshera and Azonia Laplamis to aid the shattered UEMNF across the planet. Khyron's forces, including Miriya Parino, aid the new Southern Cross Group under Colonel Leonard at Fort Esperanza. Forces under Azonia Laplamis, including Ilan Tinari, deploy to Sidney, Australia to help Captain Rolf Emerson. Additional units are placed across the globe to try and turn the tide against the rampaging Zentraedi forces. UEMNF Supreme Commander Glovalsky assigns the new UEMNF 10th Special Forces, The Wolfe Pack, and Skull Squadron to Fort Esperanza. USMC Captain Jonathan Wolfe leads The Wolfe Pack while Major Hunter leads Skull Squadron.

Mission to found Monument City launched.

The Southern Cross Group is tasked with staking out and reclaiming all downed Zentraedi cruisers possible within its region of influence. Specialized teams are organized and begin journeying into the interior of the Amazon where they frequently come into conflict with demobilized Zentraedi forces.

Former AUL mercenary Jack Archer joins The Southern Cross Group as a fighter pilot.

Two of Space Station Liberty's Lotzor Tactical Battlepod assemblies are brought back online. New Earth mecha begin rolling off the lines which achieve 10% of former output by year's end.

Mass production of the EHR-111 Spectre recon plane begins.

Keels for a new group of Churchill-class Fleet Carriers are laid in an effort to rebuild the shattered UEMNF Starfleet.


January 2052 - Keel of the SDF-03 Pioneer laid down at Space Station Liberty.

Mass production of the Jötunn-class Super Haulers begins.

The first General Model Cyborg is unveiled on Grafton's L-3 Colony for the free market. This robot has limited AI and is designed as programmable labour unit capable of a wide array of functions. Cyborgs begin replacing humans in many dangerous construction and reclamation jobs, especially where heavy radiation is found.

The massive cloud of debris, containing the remains of the Grand Fleet and Imperial-class Fleet, settles around the Earth. This becomes known as The Debris Ring and consists of a series of rings much like those of gas giants. Due to constant heavy cloud cover, observation platforms are almost totally obscured, making it easy for movement to and from space without being detected.


February 2052 - While part of a combat mission over Bogata, Max Sterling is shot down by an enemy Tel'Grau Quadrono Ace. He is saved from being killed by Miriya Parino, who effects a rescue. They begin a relationship shortly after.

Attack by a lone Tirolian City-ship on the independent exo-solar mining colony Balin's Lode in the 85 Pegasi star system results in massive destruction of the colony. Zor Prime, now using implanted memories as Seiffret Weiss, is inserted into the ruins and is considered to be the only survivor. He lives for a few weeks, isolated and alone before a rescue mission is from the nearby colony world of Galatea saves him. Because of non-existent records, Seiffret Weiss is accepted into colonial society.


May 2052 - Marriage of Max Sterling to Miriya Parino marks the first pairing of Earth-human and Zentraedi.

Keels of a whole new generation of starships are laid down at Space Station Liberty. Among these are the new Angel-class Armored Colony Ships, Tokugawa-class Battleships, Tristar-class Heavy Cruisers, Ardennes-class Battlecruisers, Nelson-class Destroyers and Swordfish-class Guided Missile Frigates.


July 2052 - Battle of Parinacota by The Southern Cross Group leads to the first surrender of a major Zentraedi force. Colonel Leonard, leading a combined arms force, accepts the surrender of Lord Marrock. From this incident, which resulted in high casualties among the Group's Alpine infantry units, Supreme Commander Glovalsky authorizes the issue of replicas of the Zentraedi's Ceremonial Vibro-blade to all personnel who show valor against Zentraedi forces in combat.


August 2052 - While inspecting a downed Zentraedi cruiser, Khyron Kravshera notes Zor Flowers sprouting from the ground where the ship's Sekiton storage cells have burst open. He gathers all the samples he can, but hides them from his superiors. A short time later, referencing an old Zentraedi legend, he ingests some of the petals. Soon afterwards, he becomes addicted to the psychotropic properties of the plant.

Terraforming of Venus, Mars, Ganymede, Europa and Titan begins when more than six hundred partially restored Zentraedi cruisers are retasked as atmospheric processors.


December 2052 - Birth of Dana Sterling, the first Earth-Zentraedi hybrid.

The UEMNF reach parity with the hostile Zentraedi forces.


January 2053 - Fighting intensifies across the globe with numerous areas completely dominated by Zentraedi hostiles. A series of pitched battles greatly depletes the manpower of the demobilized Zentraedi. The Southern Cross Group grows to its greatest size, a full Army Group, and is responsible for combat operations across South America, Africa and Asia.


February 2053 - Warlord Khorah and his command staff are killed in their headquarters from a surprise raid by Southern Cross commandos. This has a devastating effect on Zentraedi morale and operations. Almost immediately, the Zentraedi see a reversal of fortune on the battlefield. Numerous other commanders try to rally the remains of Khoran's forces, but to no avail. The once almost unstoppable Zentraedi force now splinters into hundreds of smaller groups many of whom begin fighting one another for dominance.


May 2053 - Exhausted from constant battering by the Southern Cross Group, most non-Earth aligned Zentraedi forces are now effectively encircled in what become known later as the Zentraedi Control Zones. Among these are the Amazon Basin (ZCZ-1) in South America, Congo Basin (ZCZ-2) in Africa and the Myanmar-Thailand Corridor (ZCZ-3) in Asia. A number of smaller Control Zones are established elsewhere. For a time, there is relative peace as the Zentraedi end hostile operations mostly due to complete demoralization.

Ghettos, largely consisting of Zentraedi, spring up all across the globe outside of the Control Zones. These become known as Z-Towns.

Kyle Riber once more leaves the US Army. He ensures that Izzy is cared for in a private hospital run by The Robotech Research Group.

Mass production of the VC-35 Thunderhawk Light Mecha Transport begins.


June 2053 - The Free City of Manaus, having become dominated by Zentraedi dissidents, is established on the ruins of old Manaus, Brazil.

Low production run begins on the CER-Satyr for use by the Southern Cross Group in forest environments, marking the start of the Generation 1.5 Destroids.

Eli Leonard is promoted to Brigadier General and temporarily reassigned to Monument City . Shortly afterward he meets Seloy Deparra and begins a relationship with her.

The inhalant drug Mist appears on the streets of Mexico City's Z-Town, which has the single largest concentration of Zentraedi to Earthlings on the planet. Using an extract of the Zor Flowers found growing where ever downed Zentraedi warships are located, the drug cartel run by Brian Cassidy corners the market with this new substance.

Founding of The Church of Recurrent Tragedies by Reverend Jan Houston based on her book Solar Seeds: Galactic Guardians and the tenets of Corporeal Fundamentalism. Church missionaries spearhead humanitarian projects around the planet and especially amongst disaffected Zentraedi. It quickly grows to be a major religious movement, most of whose adherents are aliens.


August 2053 - Reformation of the United Earth Government and deployment of the new United Earth Forces: UE Army, UE Air/Space Force (including the Space Marine Force) and Global & Military Police. The United Earth Army, in honour of The Southern Cross Group, is renamed The Army of the Southern Cross. Monument City is the capital of the new UEG and many of the city-states in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia pledge to the new government. Included in the UEG Charter Members are a number of orbital communities such as Grafton's L-3 Colony, 1036 Ganymed and 3753 Cruithne.

Lisa Hayes, Henryk Glovalsky, Claudia Grant and Vanessa Leeds are laterally transferred to the new United Earth Space Force. Daniel Maistroff, Eli Leonard, Zhu Lwen, Dmitri Motokoff and Jonathan Wolfe are laterally transferred to the Army of the Southern Cross. Rick Hunter, Max Sterling and Rolf Emerson are laterally transferred to the United Earth Air Force.

Breetai Tul, now Zentraedi Supreme Commander, forms the Zentraedi Allied Forces Command (sometimes referred to as the 'Zed Corps') as an independent force within the UEF open to all Zentraedi. Miriya Parino joins the UEF Air Force. Seloy Deparra joins The Army of the Southern Cross Air Corps.

The Arkansas Protectorate (ZCZ-4) declares itself independent of the UEG. Its government is made up of Zentraedi, many of whom harbour anti-Earther sentiments. It becomes a focal point for the growing Malcontent movement.


November 2053 - Re-emergence of the Anti-Unification League which includes: The Merchant Republic of Argentina, Independent City-State of Tenochtitlan (aka Freetown/Mexico City), Free City of Juarez, Barony of York, Neo-Marxist Socialist Republic of Russia, Free City of Tel Aviv, The African Islamic Republic, The Kingdom of Greater Zimbabwe, The Duchy of the Seine, The Kingdom of Prussia, The Independent City-State of Kiev, Main Belt Asteroid 4 Vesta and Trojan Asteroid 624 Hektor.

Almost the entirety of South America refuses to join the emergent United Earth Government. The Monument Broadcasting Station (MBS) begins referring to non-UEG aligned South America as 'The Southlands'.

Khyron Kravshera and Azonia Laplamis, now reassigned to Monument City, begin a relationship. Khyron tries Mist for the first time and coaxes Azonia to use it as well. They become addicted to the substance which causes increasingly erratic behavior in both.

Kazianna Hesh is reassigned to Breetai's command battleship as the Commander of Air Group. She and Breetai begin a relationship a short time later.

Mass production of the F-109S Star Falcon starfighter begins. This will be the primary non-transformable space fighter for the UEF for years to come. This is the first of the 6.5 Generation Fighters.


March 2054 - The Merchant Republic unveils their new Falcata Aerial Powered Armour. This mecha will be the basis for their manufacturing empire. The Merchant Republic sells arms to any and all customers, regardless of affiliation. Numerous proto-Malcontent bands begin secretly acquiring these mecha to supplement their forces.

Birth of Hirano, only child of Eli Leonard and Seloy Deparra.

Mass production of the FB-109 Wraith Fighter/Bomber begins. This light bomber is fully capble of both air and space operations and will remain the UEF's primary bomber for more than a generation.


June 2054 - Most of the independent polities in South Asia (India, China, Southeast Asia, Japan) declare themselves separate from the UEG and AUL. Birth of the Neasian CoProsperity Sphere, an economic and military alliance.


September 2054 - Birth of Ben Sterling, second child of Max & Miriya.

Birth of Zarmova, the only son of Khyron and Azonia.

Claudia Grant is promoted to the rank of Captain and placed in command of the UES Angel under construction at Space Station Liberty.

A group of Zentraedi on Space Station Liberty, loyal to the memory of Khorah, begin smuggling mecha parts, reflex energy cells, munitions and other supplies to The Arkansas Protectorate where they are cached. They are lead by Theofre Emlekk.

Mass production of the M-195 Tornado Survival Bike begins. This vehicle is capable of being folded up into a modified storage bin on VF-1 Raptor Veritech Fighters. It is intended to give downed pilot's a greater ability to escape and evade inside enemy territory.


January 2055 - The Advanced Veritech Program begins with the final rollout of the VF-1 Raptor and VA-2 Fury. The two main competitor Veritechs are the YVF-4 Viper and VF-X-6 Genia. Low production run begins on the MAR-Goliath Generation 1.5 Destroid.

Birth of Scott Bernard.

Seloy, falling prey to The Imperative, flees Monument City with Hirano and travels south to Free Town in search of a Malcontent band and falls in with Marla Stenik. They found The Scavengers. From its start, they act as a logistical, repair and construction unit for other Malcontents. They rarely engage in open combat, but are able to keep numerous mechanized units in the field.


March 2055 - Henryk Jozef Glovalsky retires and steps down as UEF Supreme Commander. He joins the crew of the new UES Angel, the first of the Angel-class Armored Colony Ships, bound for the Xi Boötis 2 star system to set up the new colony of Aquilae.

Birth of Jack Baker.

Birth of Anoris, first son of Breetai and Kazianna.

Field Marshall of the Army Daniel Maistroff becomes the UEF Supreme Commander.

Khyron and Azonia, fearing for their son's future, travel to Space Station Liberty to beg Breetai and Kazianna to take Zarmova as their own son. After leaving, the two settle in The Arkansas Protectorate. A short time later, they form the Malcontent band The Furies and move out to Manaus. Khyron emerges as the primary mover and shaker of The Malcontent Uprisings.

A series of terraforming projects are begun to strengthen the local plasma field around Mars. This will ensure that the increasingly thickened atmosphere will hold as well as helping to restart the nearly inert planet core.


May 2055 - Launch of the UES Angel.

Crop failures, due to worsening weather conditions, cause food shortages all across The Southlands. Disaffected Zentraedi are often times denied food when rationing occurs. Riots begin across the planet. Talk begins of stationing 'Peacekeepers' across the planet. For the first time ever, the UEG and AUL open diplomatic relations in an effort to stem the growing tide of Zentraedi unrest.


July 2055 - The military governor of Brasilia, a Non-Aligned City-State, orders his militia to disperse a large crowd of Zentraedi peacefully protesting food shortages. This becomes known as The Brasilia Massacre and is considered to be the start of The Malcontent Uprisings. The UEG, Manaus, Janice Em, The Arkansas Protectorate, Miriya Parino, Khyron Kravshera, Azonia Laplamis, Kyle Riber and numerous media personalities publicly condemn the act. Privately, many of the UEF top brass express grave concern for the damage this incident will do to the integration of Earthlings and Zentraedi.

All over The Southlands, Zentraedi begin leaving the Z-Town Ghettoes, slipping into the dense jungle of Zone 1. Attacks begin anew against UEF and AUF units along the borders of Zones 1, 2, 3 and 5 (The Indonesia Protectorate).

Bowing to public sentiment, the AUL bans all sales to non-AUL backed nations or groups. The Merchant Republic of Argentina balks at this, but openly complies.

Manaus, already a haven for incoming Zentraedi, begins sending more teams into the surrounding countryside to secure mecha and supplies.


September 2055 - After organizing the Aquilae colony, the Angel spacefolds to the AU Microscopii star system for scouting for new monopole sources. Unknown to the Angel is the fact the entire system is under a communications blackout effect from a nearby advance Tirolian battle group. While searching near a large proto-planet, it is attacked by a Tirolian force and crashes. Death of Claudia Grant and Henryk Glovalsky. Only a handful of the crew manage to survive. The ship, severely damaged, is incapable of lifting off. The remains will not be discovered until 2124 when it is located by an Earth Federation-aligned salvage crew.

Dmitri Motokoff is promoted to Brigadier Marshall and placed in command of a Rapid Reaction Force near the border of The Arkansas Protectorate.


December 2055 - Marriage of Captain Lisa Hayes to Commander Richard Hunter. SDF-03 Pioneer unveiled on Space Station Liberty and launched a short time later. Official start of The Pioneer Mission to find the homeworld of the Robotech Masters. The SDF-03, commanded by Lisa Hayes will spend the next four and a half years conducting reconnaissance operations throughout the Arm of Perseus and the Orion Spur.


January 2056 - The Advanced Veritech Program ends with the VF-4 being declared the winner. Loss of 4 VF-X-6 Genia prototypes to AUL-backed hijackers leads to a revamp of the proposed VF-6 design to include a gestalt 'Veritech fighter/bomber to act as a booster'.


February 2056 - Final rollout of the VFA-3 Banshee. Mass production of the VF-4 Viper Veritech Interceptor begins.

The Cairo Summit is called by Khyron, bringing together representatives of dozens of malcontent units. He calls for strikes against UEF and AUF forces along the borders of each of the Control Zones. His eventual goal is to repair enough downed Zentraedi cruisers to load as many Zentraedi who wish and leave the Earth. For this action, he is forever known as Khyron the Backstabber.

Lea Carson is elected governor of the Cavern City, a Non-Aligned Free Port near the UEF's South American Grand Cannon (Cannon #2). She requests UEF & AUF peacekeepers. Jonathan Wolfe and The Wolfe Pack are assigned to garrison Cavern City by the UEG. The N.M.S.R.'s Krugatch Battalion, lead by Captain Anton Kosmas, is assigned to garrison Cavern City by the AUL. Tensions between the two groups occasionally erupt into fistfights though outright bloodshed doesn't occur.


July 2056 - Dmitri Motokoff, under orders from high command, crosses the frontier border into The Arkansas Protectorate and seizes a number of strategic locations. Some 1,400 Zentraedi dissidents are rounded up and placed into a hastily constructed laager known as Camp Alpha. This will be an incredibly unpopular move by the UEG. The only overt support for this move is by the AUL Barony of York in North America.

Privately, Dmitri Motokoff asks to be relieved of command as he is sure this move is unwise. However, Supreme Commander Maistroff won't hear of it. He believes Motokoff, who harbors no ill-will to the Zentraedi, will be the best administrator for the camp.

Mass production of the VA-5 Condor Attack Veritech begins.


September 2056 - Birth of Roy Hunter.

Mass production begins on the VHT-1 Spartan Veritech Hovertank.


October 2056 - The Malcontent unit Steel Wind attempts to break through the UEF lines and reach Camp Alpha. The assault is considered a failure, though it is politically disastrous for the UEG. As a result, The Barony of York airlifts two Brigades of Army units to act as peacekeepers at Camp Alpha. Tensions between the two factions rise dramatically for which the prisoners ultimately pay. Brutality among the Barony guards is uncommon knowledge. Motokoff comes down hard on any guard he finds harming a prisoner.

Mass production begins on the VM-9 Hurricane Veritech Jeep and VR-11 Typhoon Veritech Tri-Cyclone.


November 2056 - The UEF unveils the Titan-class Ground Mobile Unit: a large, modular, multi-role vehicle. It will serve as the heart of a Brigade Combat Team, capable of logistical operations, fire support, medical, field administrative and other functions. A specialized variant of the Jötunn-class Super Hauler is designed to carry a GMU into a combat zone.

Mass production of the VQ-6 Vandal Drone, based on the VFA-6 Vindicator, begins.

Dmitri Motokoff, without orders, withdraws his entire command back to his start lines and apologizes to the government of The Arkansas Protectorate. As a result, he is relieved of command and court-martialed. He is forced to resign his commission.

The York guards at Camp Alpha, who have been secretly brutalizing their inmates, are finally overwhelmed when the prisoners riot. The laager burns to the ground and most of the York personnel are butchered by the rampaging Zentraedi.


December 2056 - An AUL task force, composed of refurbished Zentraedi warships, engages in a battle near the Rosetta Nebula. Emerging victorious, they capture a Robotech Repair Factory which they christen Space Station Triumph.

The Barony of York declares war on The Arkansas Protectorate and invades, resulting in widespread fighting up and down the frontier and into neighboring territories. Many non-aligned city-states end up being attacked by one side or the other. Free Quebec calls for a cease-fire to be brokered by the UEG, but neither side wants it.


January 2057 - In retaliation for the invasion of The Arkansas Protectorate, the AUL city-state of Oasis near Control Zone 2 is destroyed by a pair of enhanced radiation reflex warheads. The Malcontent unit Iron Ravens claims responsibility.

Mass production of the VFA-6 Vindicator Air Superiority Veritech and VFB-7 Devastator Fighter/Bomber Veritech begins.

Mass production of the Merchant Republic's MWR-Alacrán quadruped Destroid begins.


March 2057 - The Scavengers flee their makeshift base just before a major assault by the Army of the Southern Cross. The UEF troops find over 200 mecha in various states of repair in the abandoned base. Most of the mecha are identified as being from previous Malcontent attacks across The Southlands.

The Lightweight Veritech Fighter Program, a spin-off of the Advanced Veritech Program produces the VF-8 Invader multi-role dogfighter.


May 2057 - The Merchant Republic unveils their new Sughoi SuVF-1 Buran Veritech (based on the captured VF-X-6 Genia).

Zentraedi Supreme Commander Breetai authorizes the mass production of the MBR-Qogeki Destroid, based on the UEF's MBR-Gladiator. This is the first time a new mecha is produced for Zentraedi warriors.


June 2057 - The Lorelei Surveillance Network comes online with the launch of Lorelei-Alpha. This new signals intelligence platform will eventually be strung across the solar system as an advanced early-warning detection system. As the months go by, more links are added to the network. This marks the birth of PlanetNet, the successor to the old Internet/World Wide Web, when a real-time FTL email is sent from Mars Colony to Space Station Liberty.

July 2057 - Mass production of the VEFR-4 Raven, a spinoff of the VF-4 Viper, begins.
