Interesting question, and I do have an answer to that per say.
This is without a doubt my own unique style I've adapted over the years, and has stuck. In a nutshell, I'm a realism artist at best and prefer to draw and paint my art like so.

once upon a time, I used to draw fanart EXACTLY as it looked, and as time passed by I realized how immensely boring that was. Why draw an image exactly how it looks? Why not experiment with new mediums or take the great challenge in bringing more life to that character?

Thus, this style was born
though I will admit I find it rather mirthful this style has been dubbed "the atlantech style" ah wonders never cease?
