Animation On Display (AOD)
is a weekend convention celebrating anime, video games, recent American cartoons, and other fun and geeky stuff. AOD 2013 takes place in San Francisco's Japantown neighborhood, at the Hotel Kabuki, on Presidents Day Weekend: February 16-17, 2013. We look forward to seeing you there!

STEVE'S BIO....
While still a young college student and part-time hacker in 1998, Steve got his first job at an anime company as a digital animator. It was a dream come true for any fan who grew up on Robotech and Macross to be working somewhere in the anime industry. After slaving away through 80 hour work weeks and one really bad 100 hour work week where he started hallucinating from being awake too long, Steve called it quits and went back to Riverside where he got his B.A. in Creative Writing. Stay in school, kids!

Fresh out of college and eager to work in the anime industry again, Steve joined Harmony Gold to build the Robotech.com website, and has since co-produced and associate-produced several other projects as well, including the Macross restoration, the Robotech: Battlecry video game, the Robotech: Invasion video game, Robotech Remastered and Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles. Steve has also been featured in an anime documentary called Geeks, which he has still not had a chance to see.

Since its launch, Robotech.com has constantly been one of the busiest anime-related destinations on the internet, being the subject of a Conan O'Brien feature and mentioned on countless anime websites. -Music and RLLA to come out at same time. Work is still being done on animation. No release date announced.

UPDATE FROM SUNDAY ROBOTECH PANEL:

3RD VIDEO BEING WORKED ON. WILL POST LATER.

SUNDAY PANEL WAS THE BEST! SO OFF TOP OF MY HEAD..

1.STEVE YUN STARTED OFF WITH A FAST REPEAT FROM SATURDAY PRESENTATION INCLUDING OLD TRAILER FROM RLLA. (LOOK AT VIDEOS IN PREVIOUS POST).

2. SHOWED A NEW TRAILER. WAY UPGRADED AND SOME DIFFERENCE FROM THE TRAILER WE ALL SEEN ONLINE ON THE RLLA. THIS LOOKS WAY BETTER IN GRAPHICS AND COLOR. NOTHING WHAT WE HAVE SEEN BEFORE. CG WISE, WAY CLEANER BUT STILL HAS THAT OLD FEEL. ONE THING STOOD OUT AND MAYBE IN FUTURE CONS YOU GUYS MIGHT ATTEND THERE IS WHAT LOOKS LIKE A HOVER TANKER/MONSTER/SOMETHING. GREEN IN COLOR BUT OFF IN THE DISTANCE BUT BLURRED. DANA IS WALKING BACK TO THE GARFISH AND HAS THE 15TH ON IT. SHE LOOKS GOOD. WOULD EVEN LIKE A CYCLONE ARMOR IF POSIBLE.

3.MICHAEL BRADLEY IS NOT PART OF THIS PRODUCTION. MUSIC FROM OLD TV SERIES WILL BE USED THOUGHT. NO HINT ON WHO DOING THE MUSIC.
