It's funny...I've met a few Macross fans in Japan, and pretty much all of them were under the impression that Robotech and Macross were the same thing. (One of them, when I mentioned I liked Macross, said, "Oh, Robotech." I replied, "No, I don't really like Robotech," and he looked at me funny, as if I'd said something like, "I like Star Wars, but I don't like La Guerra de las Galaxias").

So yeah...maybe a little more info couldn't hurt.

That said, while I've met a fair number of Macross fans, who like either all or most of the Macross sequels as well, I've met no Southern Cross or Mospeada fans. So I think for the majority of fans here, Robotech would have 49 episodes of dead weight. Yui is the exception that proves the rule.

I agree whith that too, the other day she was asking about General Galaxy and Shinsei Industry logomarks on MWF, Talos, hellohikaru and me pointed out that in Macross Plus Guld and many crew tech members has it on their uniforms.

Macross, and for me, "ROBOTECH" coexists mutually and is hope ..

Then, only mecha decided to be treated in the same dictionary.

Neither the characters nor the song decided to be taken up on the other hand to guidelines.
