Memo, I think I miss calculated...

I'm finding that 50% or more of the robotech (and other animes for that matter) fan websites are these free ones that hosting sites like geocities offer. Other ISP's that offer free webhosting will probably follow Yahoo's path of removing free website hosting altogether. Last year it was AOL's Hometown I thought that would be it, but this year its Yahoo's Geocities.

I think the Macrossworld'ers should be notified as well. This will be a huge lost to the fandom community. Most likely that those who can afford webhosting will be able to save their pages, but for how long.

While this is true, remember Robotech fans are mainly known for their nostalgic memories of the franchise. Thus, it would be fitting saving the old fan created sites, just for the nostalgic factor.
