Memo, it was for speaking my valid opinion of Robotech, and it's handlers on the RT website.

Citing my blog was only as a point of reference sonce most of the links are there. So I'll ask again:

Personal attacks on people who are associated with Robotech (voice actors, crew, etc) is a no-no.

Insulting people who are not associated with Robotech, such as people you saw on TV or some idiot you heard about on the news is okay, as long as it's kept within the limits of good humor.

I like rt.com's double standard

On rt.com, basically anything you say that TPTB or their mods don't like is considered a personal attack on someone associated with robo-tech or robo-tech itself, and by their rules grounds for warnings and bannings.

AH. SO THERE WERE AMPLE WARNINGS AND THEY WERE IGNORED WHEN BOTHERING AN ADMIN, WHICH IN THIS CASE WAS TOMMY THAT GOT YOU GUYS BANNED.

I can remember the time Steve came in linking us all to the Japanese video game about some sort of simulator for rape, or 'forced sex'. He wasnt exactly for it, the content but he made a conversation about it. That was against terms of use, and even state laws in communications/pornography stuff.

The times he came in drunk at convention nites after being thrown out of the bar at 2am(have to say that happened to us too frequently) and he would talk about the girls, the RT fan girls he wanted to date, the ones he thought were ugly, and the cosplayers and lack of clothing. Disturbing when most of them were actually under 18.

But hey, yeah site admin. You ban him from chat, and the next day he bans you from the forums for a week as punishment for banning him. If only he could see the rt.com chatroom now. #1 place for Macross Puriests and baned members.

Im sorry that Steve, Kevin, and Tommy, including those who harbor their ideals are so sensitive and easily brused by honesty, constructive critism and direct speaking. Probably why Robotech is not making it currently.

I THINK JUST THAT ONE INSTANCE WHEN TOMMY FELT LIKE BEING BADGERED THAT STEVE CUT IN TO WARN EVERYONE. SOME CONTINUED I GUESS.
