Besides a small gap on the left wing, I'm quite pleased with my Maia Alpha. In fact, it is more sturdy/solid than any of my other Alphas...no problems with the joints and the paint job is good (no smudges)...

Yeah I cant spend my $ on the Toynami/ Aoishima stuff. CM has proven to be great with the legioss IMO

My first one had a leg joint that was cracked and badly bulging. The glue application was also very sloppy. A couple of the missile doors on the legs were glued shut, but I was able to get them open with a bit of light prying. I sent it back because of the cracked joint. I just got my replacement. Both of the leg joints on it were bulging a bit. Its not noticeable, and it doesn't look like there is any danger of them cracking like my other one was. One of the air intake sections wasn't set right, and there was a noticeable gap between it and the center torso. I was able to fix the problem of the intake section by applying a bit of force. It was a bit scary to do when the figure cost so much, but It now functions, fine and there is no gap. Im pretty happy with my replacement. Its a fine display piece.
