#5 & 6 are DYRL although I think Toynami/HG is calling them the Macross Movie versions.
When I realized the Officers battlepod would be #8 I started wondering if I had missed a battlepod variant or two, so they were actually Voltron, hmm.

Macross 1/100 scale series 5
These are standard set without Super packs.

VF-1S Max Movie version
VF-1A Low Visibility type
VF-1J Stealth type (same color scheme as SDCC VF-1S Stealth type, but with silver stripe instead of gold)

Macross 1/100 scale series 6
These are deluxe set with armour accessories.

VF-1D Trainer type
VT-1b Super Ostrich type-b
VE-1b Elintseeker type-b

These will have new chest plates and wind shield parts. VT and VE will also have new wing parts.
These Super Ostrich and Elintseeker are called type-b because their tailwings folds flat to connects to booster packs.

No New Generation stuff? With the sidequel set in early New Generation continuity I'd expect to see some new Alpha/Beta Fighters which would be welcome in my collection since I just opened my Masterpiece Rook Alpha and it just fell apart in my hands.

THE PANEL IS JUST THE SAME FROM LAST YEARS OTHER THAN MAYBE THE Q&A AND A FEW MORE VIDEOS AND AUDIOS BEING SHOWNED. WAS THE 2011 TEASER WELL WORTH IT? BY ITSELF NO.

BUT AT LEAST I CAN PUT OUT INFO ON AN IDEA WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN UPCOMING CONS. WILL SEE AT AX, COMIC CON AND MECHA CON ON HOW THEY PRESENT THIS 2011 MOVIE. THEN AT THAT TIME THERE WILL BE MORE TO DEBATE.

THIS APPETIZER OF A PANEL IS NOT MUCH INFO SO HAVE TO WAIT ON THE BIG ONES, IMO THERE WILL BE MORE, AND MORE WORTH A CON PASS TO SEE.
