Hardly, as Macross Zero is part of SDF: Macross & Macross franchise universe, & thus, bear no part in RT-verse as RT: Macross Saga has long departed from Macross franchise, sharing only mecha & character design, animation , but likewise, in terms of story, diverged very differently & developed different subsequent follow ups.

One of the biggest reasons Macross Zero cannot be part of Robotech is that it takes place during the UN Wars, something that never happened in the Robotech timeline and is more or less denied by the first episode.
