I never really cared for the GI Joe cartoon or paid much attention to the characters of the toys. When I heard the talk about this I just ignored everything on it. Then I saw the movie preview on TV and thought it looked sweet. So now I really want to see this movie.

I can't believe this crap of a movie coming out in August,Sorry but read why I think G.I. Joe is crap:,

The cartoon was always making me think,,There was alot of violence but no deaths,I mean Joes shot at Cobras and would always miss and when tanks and choppers exploded,drivers and pilots always jumpted out in time.,No one died in G.I.Joe and everyone was terrible shots....The only blood I think I remember I saw was when Surpantor(spell) threw a snake at Duke like a spear and it went into his chest.

think about it folks,I rather see a Voltron movie or a differant movie than a cartoon based movie that had no killing.

I was shocked that the movie has the same bad aiming as the cartoon did,that woman shot missles from the s.u.v at Joes wearing cyclone armor and still missed,I think this movie will be as pathetic as Street Fighter and DBZ.

Unless they redeem themselves by making Joes and Cobra better shots.

SF and DBZ just looked silly to me, but the GI Joe movie looks cool in that Mission Impossible/Charlie's Angels over the top action flick way. Isn't the type of movie for everyone, but I dig it.
