Here's my view: some heroes are known to have a Significant Other, others are not. Heroes in the latter category can be hooked up to anyone. Heroes in the former categegory can't.
No one would like to see Reed and Sue Richards break up and date other people, for example.
I'm among those who quit on Spider-Man after 'One More Day'.
Supes and Loïs Lane: already in 1930s. Floating around each other in every tv or movie adaption. Even got married in 90s series 'Lois & Clark'.
Don't care about orientation. He was already spoken for!

This is what happens when alphabet soup people get into creative positions at studios. They gay everything up. Next superman is going to be revealed as "trans" anything to fit their stupid agenda.

In December, the BBC started airing a Superman television series. Frogotten the title, but in this series Clark and Lois move back to Smalville in order to have more time for their children.
Would DC please make up their minds?

Read on wikipedia that the DC live action tv series all take place in the 'arrowverse'. One general remark. Based on a few episodes of 'Arrow' and one of 'The Flash' and what I've seen of this series: it's all so...serious.
It's as if DC can't find a middle way between Adam West's Batman, Dean Clark's Superman and 90s 'Lois and Clark' on the one side and this on the other side.
Two exceptions: 90s Superman cartoon series and subsequent Justice League cartoon series. Every other movie/tv adaptation tends to be either too silly or too serious.
