Since the beginning, I have been far from fond of the character models, just wish they could be more recognizable. The look of the cons makes it somewhat difficult to differentiate them sometimes.
That being said, still looking forward to this movie.

I think a good compromise would have ben in a style similar to Don Figueroa's style that he used for the IDW ongoing when it came out. Not the special but the ongoing itself. Took G1 elements but made them more realistic, not good for a comic but would have been great for a movie.

Thought this clip was kind of cheesy but that's what i expect from the Bay Transformers. Stlll, overall I'm still SUPER excited about this movie and even some of the toys impress me (though some suck).

The first trailer looks really good in digital 3d.

This movie is awesome. It actually has a plot with surprises leading up to the occupation and smackdown in Chicago. Yeah, some of it is predictable, the movie starts slow, and it focuses a whole lot on Carly although that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Besides a big dose of action, several bots on both sides bite the dust very violently, there's quite a bit of humor/comic relief and the dialogue alluding to Spock in Trek is cute. Most of the movie the 3D is pretty much transparent but when there's action its very obvious, especially in the scenes shot from heights.
