Hi guys.

I'm starting this thread as a general catch-all to talk about our own sci-fi Franchise 'Battlelords of the Twenty-Third Century®'

Now in its 20th year of print, Battlelords started out as a tabletop RPG book and game series of supplements. In the mid-nineties there were also miniatures and a collectible card game produced. SSDC continues to put out new books and reprints of the RPG series. They are currently working on the 7th printing of the main rulebook and a new spaceship supplement.

We at Athena Virtual Productions, Inc. (AVPI) currently have a lot of plans for the Franchise in the works. Soon we will be releasing a free casual game on Facebook to introduce a lot more people to this vibrant universe. I will update this thread in the weeks and months to come.

Its been a few weeks of my intensive tuning into the Battleords universe...and with each new information i receive i find it more interesting.

My suggestion guys is stay tuned, as AVPI will be bringing Battlelords of the 23rd century to various forms of media.. with a storm.

The creation of this piece has come a long way. The artist is indeed Nenad Petrović. Ultra Armor are more commonly known on the battlefield as 'Humpty Dumpties' because of their shape. They were originally designed by Mike Osadciw for the first edition of Battlelords in 1990. Nenad has been reviewing all our art assets and actually used parts of different models made three years ago from different modelers on our team, Carsten Holtmann and Richard Jeferies.

Richard Jeferies was the main artist of 2007 Battlelords book supplement 'Engines of War' which features statistics and art for 23rd century ground vehicles, 'flying cars' & Hover Tanks (called Skimmers) and a whole line of Walkers, Crawlers, and Ultra Armor. When I showed Nenad the original art from the 90s, he agreed it had a very unique look so we began tweaking the designs that appeared in Engines of War for our online games here at AVPI.
