I would chalk it up to ignorance, stupidity or both.
In other news I've been listening to this podcast on youtube called Bigfoot Outlaws and these guys are always talking about how common bigfoot or "boogers" as they call them, are in your area DS. I'm not sure if you live in a rural area or not but have you ever seen any of these boogers or know anyone that has?

Don't mind me I'm just interested in the subject, mainly because I've discovered the town I live in has a bit of a history of sightings. The last one only about two or three miles from my home.
