It's not just that I mean look at Hollywood today, all they are doing is adapting cartoons, books & comics into live action films. Its like nothing can exist without a live action adaption of it, and I ask why? What's so great about live action anyways? ooooh special effects? you can do that with animation these days, just look at fucking pixar.. and yes *sigh* even dreamworks has some impressive CG.

Rt3000 may have been shit back then, but thats because CG back then was shit, so that's really no excuse now. And I'm sorry to say but not everything translates well to live action, and thats because not everything was meant to in the first place. Robotech to me won't translate well, and thats why if it ever gets made, its going to be a big disappointment.

I honestly don't even know why people are excited over this thing, I mean they're just taking your nostalgia and raping it up the ass to make money, how is that exciting?
If you ask me RT is better off left alone.

*shrugs* I would rather see Live Action than CG. If hollywood is doing, it will probably be bad. If they are going to ruin the story, they might as well give us their 'real life' idea of the characters. That's just me.

Can they tell a RT story without resorting to the usual shitty hollywood formula to sell it? I'd say no, they cannot.. and I hate to say it but no movie based off a cartoon has been good, even Scooby Doo was shit.
