Yes, the concept is like Vegas machines. Though one is to play for sport only. Some people play it for money and that's when they get into trouble. Gambling debt. Many children have died in cars that were parked in the parking lot while the parent(s) were in side playing these machines.
Many would think that since these places are in Japan that it must be a Japanese owned and or idea thought up by them. Some are owned by let's say some colorful characters here in Japan while the rest are owned by colorful characters from Korea. It's a Korean idea brought to Japan and many Japanese get coaught up in that big dream. I can beat and win at this.

The CM's are still aired on TV and I must say shows that a CG and live action mix could work. I like it much better than the live one they tried for Gundam.

Achhh .... it seems Macross Fever hitting RTX.com too .... after the thread I posted in MW.

Well, technically it looked gorgeous. But I do understand some Macross fans reservations about the in-game animations. Yeah, at first glance, it seems a much more cleaned, shiny versions of the old SDFM animation that we all loved. Then at a second glance, yep, something is not right ... mostly to do with the the way SDFM characters were re-designed in the new animation.

Although, I keep praying, one day Shoji Kawamori, Ichiro Itano & Haruhiko Mikimoto will sit down again together & re-created the SDFM magic once again, either rebooted Macross the First as an OAV or brand new series.

I know, that's wishful thinking .... but who knows, right?
