I know it is a couple years away but how many of you are going to dig holes,build bunkers,stock up on canned food and water and convert to other beliefs when the year 2012 arrives?

Because during the Y2K fringe I saw alot of lunatics out there.

I for one do not believe the world will end or be destroyed or a mass invasion of aliens or the return of 1970's disco music.But if the world does end and gets destroyed and we all die in the year 2012 then I will apologize and give those who were right about the 2012 world ending $100.00 for doubting them!

Like most of my New Years I'll plan to go out and have a good time, but then something goes wrong and my New years turns to crap. Other than that...I'm not really concerned for 2012.

The world has been ending for as long as it has had people in it. 1999 an Y2K just to name two.

The Mayan Calendar is just going to flip over like we do our calendars.

Incidentally a few weeks ago I watched the 2012 movie. It was fun and all but I just couldn't get past the reason the world was sent into turmoil. Mutating neutrinos! Are you kidding me? Neutrinos are also called Ghost Particles because they do not interact with anything and the premise of the world's catastrophic state was mutated neutrinos!!! The neutrino detectors thousands of meters underground for this sole purpose haven't even detected one yet. At least not directly and these clowns have them mutating.

Ah well, but what do you expect when this is the same movie where John Cusack outruns earthquakes and pyroclastic flows in a limo and a motor-home respectively.

December 22 is my birthday, so I'll probably be drunk.

Well, I guess in 2012 we can hopefully celebrate that we can vote out the idiots who are in the White House now (provided we still have a viable USA left after Obama's antics).

I have information from a good authority that the world will end PRIOR to 2012. You see, I have a 2-year pocket planner. It has NO DATES WHATSOEVER after the date of 31 DECEMBER, 2010!! Of course, a friend of mine suggested that I'd merely need to buy a new planner when that date arrived, but THAT's just CRAZY TALK!
