Hmm, he seems like he'd be okay. He does seem to have boyish good looks. He also has a decent share of sci-fi acting credits. What have you seen him in, that caught your attention?

I've seen him in quite a few movies, and like shia he used to be a disney channel star lol.

I just thought he'd make a good choice because he's a good actor and he isn't well known.

That's what they should do for the casting of the movie
get a bunch of unknown people.

If we're going to go Disney I would go with Demi Lovato. She's not as goofy and she's got a better singing voice. Of course I prefer Minmei being an asian girl anyways...otherwise they'll have some explaining or changing to do.

I think Miley Cyrus would be an ideal cutie for Minmei's role.

I'm Asian, and I don't feel there's any reason why she has to be an Asian. At most, make them Asian-American.

But I think Miley Cyrus would do a great job, and she can really sing her lungs out. I'm mainly wondering what kind of updated songs she'd sing, instead of just My Time to Be a Star, or To Be in Love.

I think it would be nice to have some small song numbers inside the Robotech movie. It would really add to the spirit of the movie, just as happened with the anime.
