WHAT IT MEANS IS THAT THERE IS STILL DEVELOPMENT ON RLAM. WB HIRING WRITERS TO TAKE A SHOT AT IT IN MAKING A GOOD SCREENPLAY.
AT LEAST FOR ME IT HAS MOVED ON BEYOND SCRIPT. GETTING CLOSE TO HOW THEY WANT THE SCRIPT MESH WITH THE VISUALS. SCRIPT AND SCREENPLAY ARE ABOUT THE SAME THOUGHT BUT SCREENPLAY IS HOW EVERYTHING WILL BE SEEN WHEN FILMING.
EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE PRODUCTION WOULD STILL HAVE TO AGREE TO IT AS WELL. I SAY A GOOD SCREENPLAY WOULD TAKE ABOUT 2 TO 3 MONTHS TO MAKE AND IF APPROVED THEN PICK A DIRECTOR.
IF NOT APPROVED THEN WE WILL KNOW WHEN ANOTHER SCREENPLAY WRITER IS PUT OUT THERE.
SCREENPLAY:
encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/Film+script
Written text that provides the basis for a film production. Screenplays usually include not only the dialogue spoken by the characters but also a shot-by-shot outline of the film's action. Screenplays may be adapted from novels or stage plays or developed from original ideas suggested by the screenwriters or their collaborators. They generally pass through multiple revisions, and screenwriters are called on to incorporate suggestions from directors, producers, and others involved in the filmmaking process. Early drafts often include only brief suggestions for planned shots, but by the date of production a screenplay may evolve into a detailed shooting script, in which action and gestures are explicitly stated.

Perfect timing, will we see some moves come out by this summers comic con? Hmmmm
Btw, where's Matt Reilly and Matt Milan in the credits?
www.movieinsider.com/m4358/2/robotech/
I guess your info is more updated than mine memo, I'll check my sources.
Anyway good news, but not surprising since blockbusters do take time to perfect, the nature of all tentpoles.
Oh another thing, LOL!!!
Do any of you know what the difference is between an Executive Producer and Production Executive? I do
They're hinting on something???
Hehehe!
