enough of the previous shenanigans
here's the latest in my sleep deprivation-esq nights-er mornings in this case.
William Sterling again (I dunno why hes been selected as my guinea pig model, but oh well)
The standard AMF helmet
colors are the same as the flight suits
Gray with whatever custom colored markings you see on the pilot's suit.
The design is like a cross between a race car drivers & an astronauts. The concept seemed cool enough in my head
will color it later and repost the colored version.
Did I mention they're a great fashion accessory? Kidding of course, they're helmets not feathered boas!
Though I think with William's charismatic charm, he could pull that look off too

thanks sigh =]
here's some new art for the character Lynne Williams
No that is not supposed to be me, she only has my name because when I first started developing Atlantech, I was kinda desperate for names and it was either mine or Sonya but I thought that sounded too mortal-kombatish for my taste and thus Lynne it became!
She's probably the only human character aside from Alley without the flapper style helmet hair, but I figured she's an authority figure, the flapper look wouldn't do her character any justice, nor would anyone take her seriously.
Noticeably, she can Admiral Grant wear the same colored uniforms, while the standard officer color is gray with burgundy markings.
I do have some other art, but I've decided to keep most of it posted here
I'm kinda using that forum as a bulletin board for new things that are too minor to be announced on the main site.
plus it also gives me more space to give full descriptions.
There's another here , I've started for comic panel sketches
will update both of those pretty often.
any sketches that I plan on painting, are added to the gallery of the website, right under the Sketches & WIP section.

Cool. Very nice.
Though Lynn still looks scarily like Macross 7 Milia...thank God I noticed her braid.

yeah I know what you're talking about
when I first worked on her design back in 03
I had some macross art I bought off ebay and I was a bit influenced by the style of some of the uniforms.
