I use
this
to do all my drawing and coloring. The thing cost me a fortune but I worked my ass off and saved up for it. I've got it lying on a small fold out table right in front of my desk. It's a real neat device and it allows me much more control as it has that traditional feel but with the digital work flow.
Also as for my coloring style, I've always preferred realism and I like making cartoon characters look more real, while still retaining their cartoonish attributes if that makes any sense.

Yeah I do the webcomic and the written story while working on artwork for it on the side. The only problem is it takes me so long to finish something, especially since I don't have as much free time as I used to, and because I hate rushing anything because I don't want it turning out like crap. Right now I'm working on a slew of material that's going into my proposed art book/comic. I'm trying to get as many comic pages done as I can for it, along with setting up the other sections I plan on including.

This is a fine, fine piece of art. Couldn't have asked for a nicer present.
