As far as 'Atlas' and 'Mercury' are concerened, I've never found any real reference to a shuttle, not that I really tried all that hard. It would seem that the RDF, having in its' posession the SDF-1, and all the other things that the SDF-1 brought forth, that improvising a pair of shuttle classes would be a minor thing, and something that would be easily accepted.

As far as the names for the classes, I see the naming conventions for certain ships in RT (Daedelus and Promethius, to name a couple examples), and ran with it.

Memo, I've been reluctant to get into the new RPG, because I've heard that Paladium has realy pooched it, as far as certain things are concerned. For example, they've written that the Tomahawk is a two-person destroid?!? Since when? For the last 25 or so years, it's been a one-man machine.

FIGURED. WAS TRYING TO GOOGLE THEM TO DEATH AND FOUND NOTHING. HEHEHE. EVEN RDF IS ONLY IN THE BOOKS BUT NOT A RECOGNIZED WORD ON ITSELF FROM THE SERIES (ROBOTECH DEFENSE FORCE).
